  1. Last year on Eclipse, we were told can only order the "common list" of MDR items like Shrimp Cocktail, Escargot, Caesar Salad, etc.  Last month on the Equinox however, the staff did not hesitate to bring ANYTHING we wanted from the MDR.  They even had a MDR menu handy to peruse from.  As another on this forum also did, we asked for the MDR prime rib on day 1 as Blu does not have it.  It arrived cooked to order and still hot.  The staff did not seem to mind fetching MDR items at all (unlike Eclipse).  We ensured they all received extra gratuity for the outstanding service.  Our wait staff was Andy and Tatiana.

  2. Did Club Class last Feb on Sapphire. Missed it the first day and ate MDR and buffet since I didn't know where CC was. After discovering it was same MDR with the entrance on the opposite side. A host stands at the door to greet you and escort you to your table. It takes them a day to know everyone but afterward you are greeted by name and are served by the same wait staff for every meal. On my first CC day I wasn't overly impressed with my waiters. Luckily the second day was busy and rather than wait I opted to sit in another station. Rachael and Albert to be specific. This husband and wife pair were fantastic! I had to talk to the head host but I was adamant that we wanted to sit here for all remaining meals. They made it happen and dining was such a delight that I will only consider CC or full suite just for the experience. I realize I may get someone like the first time but if so, I will try to move around to find great staff. It makes all the difference in the world when your waiters know what you like and don't like. Your service is tailored to that. I for one hate half and half in my coffee but like real cream. You cannot find that on Princess anymore - not even with the specialty coffees. Guess what, every coffee in CC came with a small carafe of real cream that Albert or Rachael fetched from the chef. That is the personalized experience.

  3. Also going June 2 - 4 and am curious what the fine print of the certificate will detail i.e. number of days for each destination. In the past I have seen 15 days for Caribbean however the giveaway last winter only allowed 10 days for everything except Hawaii. I am curious whether anyone has received 14 day Caribbean (B2B of the 7 day cruises) as a comp?
