SAN415, how many days before your cruise were you offered this?

Also, 12 out of 14 of our cruises on Princess have been inside quads!! We sleep super well due to no light, & we’re only in there to sleep, shower & dress. Works great for our family!

We’re a family of 4, & we’ve taken 13 cruises with Princess, all in inside quads! We’ve been doing this since the kids were toddlers, & they’re now 20 & 24. This has been the only affordable option for us, & it has allowed us to see the world as a family. Grateful...!

Hi all- Have Princess ships been stopping in Nicaragua this fall? We’ll be on the Coral in December, & I was wondering if we could expect to make our stop there. If not, does it usually become another sea day, or might they add on another day in Mexico? Thanks!

I read this thread yesterday and was so happy for you.

Today I got a call from Princess asking me if I wanted the same offer as you. They have really over sold balcony cabins. I jumped at it, I can sail now and use the refund for another cruise for our Anniversary in March. I know we will not spend much on board so we will get a nice check in 4 weeks.

Excellent! Be sure to go to Baja or Caribe decks and then walk all the way forward (or aft) and then go through the door that sort of looks like you shouldn't go through it. These doors lead to the forward and aft viewing decks. The forward decks are awesome for the transit but will be full of people. Don't let it discourage you as the people will come and go so there is room for you The naturalist will probably be broadcasting to the ship from the forward Caribe deck. When not actually broadcasting the naturalist is usually quite happy to answer any questions you may have. The front viewing decks have no furniture but the aft viewing decks have loungers. Not that you will want to be lounging there during the transit but there are more days than transit day and those without a balcony can make good use of those decks and the loungers.

We are totally inexperienced cruisers so I'm a little nervous about this but it's a done deal. Taking the Caribbean Princess on 9/28 and just received a call. Going from a balcony on Lido to an obstructed view on Emerald. For this we received all our cruise fare back + $200 extra on board credit per person. Now we are going to pray hard we can get onboard in enough time to book the sanctuary for all or part of this cruise! Hope I didn't make a mistake.
