Hi!
Anyone know where I can get a couple of bottles of wine to take on the cruise ship in or around the Pier 2 terminal in Honolulu?
-
Hi! I've searched but did'nt come up with anything. Is there a place right at pier 2 to purchase wine and/or soda before boarding the ship?
Thank you!

Hi Ya!
We will be on Vista. April 7th through April 15. My flight is coming into FLL at 7:40 a.m.
I have purchased transfer from airport to pier through Carnival.
Question: Does anyone know how long I might sit on the bus at that hour waiting for enough people to make the trip?
I am considering booking a shuttle for 10 a.m. instead having breakfast at the airport to kill some time. I can do the earliest check-in as we are priority platinum.
Any help from someone who is familiar with a situation like this is appreciated.

I really enjoyed your review and pics. I must say that you have a lovely group of young ladies and you must be very proud of them. Looks like you had a wonderful time together. This is what I love about Carnival... the opportunity share a joy filled vacation making memories that last forever. God Bless you and your entire family.

Hi! Loved your review.
Thinking of sailing on the Legend again. Is she in good condition overall??
Mel
Legend is in great condition! Staff was very attentive. Saw lots of cleaning on Lido, ash trays were emptied like never before. My cabin was in good shape although it didn't have the sheer curtain at the balcony window. For some reason I really like that thing.Different chef made all the difference in the world. Food was much, much better than previously even on the buffet.
Thanks! ;)

Looking forward to your review. Can't wait for more pics.
You are right, the prices for this cruise were unbelievable. I wish we could have taken advantage of them. Work restrictions wouldn't allow April.

Earlier someone was looking up answers as to partitions opening on certain balconies by room number.
Can anyone tell me where I can look up this info?
Thank you!:)

Thanks for sticking with us on this and answering all of our questions. I have often wondered WHY Carnival doesn't do much for the platinum cruisers. It seems to me if you have that much loyalty to their brand they could come up with a few additional perks to make their customers feel appreciated.
Good job on this thread and great pics. You're wife looks like a lucky lady!:)

I would also like to thank you for your comparison. I have often wondered about the perks. Since I probably will never book a suite though I wonder if there are any reasons a balcony room on Hal might be nicer than on Carnival?
Since I don't drink I think I might enjoy a more laid-back cruise line. What would you say the median age of the passengers was on your cruise?

I could swear that Ann Coulter was on a cruise we were on. It was Uncle Bob's Inaugural Wine Cruise Liberty.
Does anyone out there know if I might be right?

Just an update on the wine purchase in Honolulu...
ABC store directly across the the street from the hotel in Waikiki! My DH strolled over there and picked up two bottles of barefoot for approximately 6 to 7 dollars a bottle. One bottle was corked. I didn't open that until we were off the ship.
Thanks again for the great info everyone. We had a fantastic cruise on the Legend. A couple of first day wrinkles to iron out but after that ... SWEEEEEEET!
