We just returned yesterday (Monday) on the Paradise.  You could not serve yourself at the soft serve ice cream machine.

Also, In the dining room, they didn't put the salt and pepper out until you received your entrée.  My husband asked why, as he likes to salt the butter for his bread.  We were told it was for sanitation purposes. 

I appreciate your very detailed post. I have a question. Did you actually get your passport stamped?

When we were on the Dream my huband asked our room steward to unlock the petition between our 2 balcony rooms. He said we first had to call Guest Services, which we did. The phone call took care of it and we were unlocked about 1/2 hour later.

We went on the Dream on the Dec 26 New Year's cruise. My husband and I had 6492 and 2 of our daughters had 6494. We didn't even realize we were over the comedy club until one night when we were sitting on the balcony and someone exited the club through the door directly onto deck 5. We heard the music and then realized we were over the club! We never had any problems with the noise, though. I think you will be really happy with the room.

Yes, I did see that... but I am hoping that it's just more incorrect data. I could always bring along a cutting torch. (Those aren't on the prohibited list with irons and candles are they?) :D

I am hoping for the same incorrect data as well. My family has Cabin 6492 and 6494 booked for Dec 26, 2009. It was the first time we have put our 2 youngest kids in their own room. Our thinking was that we could keep tabs on them with the connecting balconies. I guess we will make it work one way or another.
