About 1:45am on our way back to Norfolk from Freeport I noticed lights in the distance from our balcony. It looked like a coast. Turned on the TV and it appeared we were headed straight to Port Canaveral. Rumbling from crew members in the casino was that it was a 24 year old crew member that had a heart attack from drinking energy drinks. Although none of that is certain. We arrived in Norfolk 4 hours late. 90% of the passengers had no idea we came to a complete stop. Pretty dramatic footage from our balcony on 12.

i drank about 3 dozen throughout the week, strawberry banana. Its available at 75% of the bars, really quick and easy for them to make, icecream mix, strawberry mix banana mix ice and bam done in less than 20 sec.

I took the OP to mean that they all had the UBP - friends were doing drinks/shots with their UBP and OP was doing smoothies and fireball with theirs.

you are correct, i had a group of 14 with me and only 2 didnt have UBP and i got them a few drinks here and there.

Curious, were you using your UBP to buy drinks for your friends, if so, was it pretty easy to do that?

yes super easy to get 3 drinks at a time, just be super nice, cool and respectful

I will be answering questions as well. Its definitely a "culture change" at NCL. I dont think the bartenders are getting the money coming in like they used to from tips. I found a few bartenders that were personable and started telling them to print out my "bill" so i could add a tip to my several rounds of drinks. The only thing on my account review was the actual tip i paid. It changed everything!!! just a few bucks here and there went a very LONG way. My service at Spice H2O was impecable after i helped them out a little bit. I booked the free UBP before they started charging the service fees lol. We came out so far ahead. My friends enjoyed 25+ drinks/shots each day. I drank smoothies all day and fireball all night.

If your son runs out of things to do onboard and is bored then thats insanity

going on the getaway in feb 16'. already booked several cabins with 4 passengers and the 3rd and 4th were free, now more people want to sign up and its extra pass half price, if they book and the promo comes back, shouldnt they take that off total price of cabin?

Did you miss not having a serenity deck? I am considering this ship for an October cruise. However, I wonder if I would miss the serenity deck on sea days.

I didnt miss the deck, just make the most out of your cruise. theres plenty of places to go on the back of the ship thats not crowded

the show that is a must see is Epic Rock! Best show at sea! comedians were ok but the rest of the show people will prolly be different. Drinks were great. Go to the private resort all inclusive in la romana

Yes, good job! I did not do as well as you on my free cruise, I spent $1200 in the casino, so I definetly paid :D but....I had a great time too! Free drinks by the first night, so that was nice :D
