Hi Laurie,
We are on the same sailing as you! Looking forward to reading your review as we sail along with you. We will also be ending a cruise in Quebec City later this summer! Will keep an eye out for you on the cruise. So excited!

Thank you for the review on the Volcano hike in St. Kitts. I have always wanted to do it, as I love hiking but your review confirms what I have also read, that it is a dangerous hike and not worth taking the chance on getting injured.

In total disbelief that they would change the itinerary at this late notice. We have been on the computer all day working on our travel plans as obviously running out of time to make plans and we leave for NY on Thursday. Already costing us more money as had to cancel a ferry we booked--non refundable.
We have already booked a car service to the train station and booked 2 nights hotel and train rides. So now spending more money that was not planned. The amount of stress that this causes for everyone is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.
I agree with everyone that 25% refund is ridiculous! We received an email early this afternoon and I immediately called and the agent was not even aware of these changes. I asked for more compensation, she put me on hold and when she returned said the 25% is all NCL is doing for their guests.
Many of us cruise often and have lots of choices available to us, I am sure that we will be reconsidering booking NCL in the future.

We are currently on the Coral. The tv's in mini-suites and maybe in other cabins have composite (RCA), component (RGB), a video and 2 HDMI ports plus 1 VGA port. The provided remote control will allow you to switch between ports.
Hope this answers your question.
Thanks, very helpful! We will be joining you in Shanghai!

Do the televisions have connections that allow you to plug in an external device to watch your own downloaded entertainment?

The Super Typhoon is huge, but does look to be pass Yokohama by the time you arrive. Hopefully not too much damage will be done before you get there. Hoping for sunny skies!

Hurricane Walaka currently at Cat 5, but will not affect you guys at all. Super Typhoon Keng-rey is also a Cat 5, wind intensity and looks like it is going to turn North and head between Japan and Korea. When it gets between the two land masses the wind speed will drop significantly, but will be a major rain event. Neal is looking all this up right now and giving me the information. If we have any new information will pass it along.

Sounds like a great start to the cruise, we are ready to join everyone in Shanghai! How is the internet? How fast is it? Will we have the ability to pay online bills or download items?

I have done the sushi making class on three other ships. It is a lot of fun and you get to sit and eat your different creations afterwards. Always have some left as it is quite a bit of sushi.

What taxi company did you end up pre-booking and what was the cost round trip? We have been to Brugge before and did the Cruise Express, but do not feel like waiting in line. Thank you.
