May be a dumb question. Is it when the deposit is placed or when you make
final payment?
-
Not sure what you pay in Ohio but on my June trip on the Grandeur I paid
$40.00 for two liters of Crown Royal Black which is an excellent buy.
As for the sale, it isn't on all brands. Prices remained the same on the whiskey and scotch. I could do just as well on the Gin and Vodka in the state of DE.

Agree with previous poster, doesn't make a difference whether or land or sea.
I have had vertigo in the past and a low dose of meclizine did the trick.
A tip, when getting up from bed or any where you are laying down, close your eyes and rest your feet on the floor. Open your eyes after 10/20 seconds. Seemed to help me a good bit.

Is it the anonymity of the boards???
I originally posted the drinks prices solely as a guideline for those who may have been wondering what I call a regular drink would cost.
Now I'm sorry I did it.

Bob:
Two things to consider, the size of the glass and what you call house tequila.
The ones I saw were quite large...not sure what the pour was but looked healthy.
I really don't think 10.50 is a bad price for a margarita.

Just sailed on the GOS 6/5/15 and did not find the drink prices outrageous. For the most part unless you were drinking a foo-foo drink they were less than what you would pay in a good restaurant or hotel bar. All were with a mix or on the rocks. The prices on the frozen drinks such as rum runners etc are high and certainly don't contain much more than lots of ice and flavoring with minimal rum.
Beer..................5.50
Baileys 7.00
Gran Marnier 7.00
Drambuie 7.00
Tanqueray 7.00
Ketel One 7.00
Crown Royal 7.50

Just left the GOS today 6/12. The aerial show is back, it was on the last night.
Just as good if not better is their practice sessions. We saw 3 of them, usually around 12/1PM.
Being on a higher deck is better than below. I would try 7/8.
Great ship and a great trip.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what the formal nights are on the Grandeur 7 day Bermuda Cruise out of Baltimore.
Thank You

On my next cruise I will have Bank America Visa credit close to $600.
Can I use that credit to get cash at the casino?
Thanks for your help.

If the budget is that tight...stay home and drink!!!!!

The steak was simply not worth it. To make it worse, the baked potato was hard and the spinach was poorly presented. Previously I had the veal and that was tough. Thought I would give the steak a shot...never again.

I was on the six day that left on 9/12 and I am taking my children on a 7 day in '15. Now I have all the answers to "What can we do all day".

I purchased the 5 bottle pkg last week on board the Grandeur. Listed price was $165, with tip it came to 189.75
W/O the pkg, the wines cost anywhere from $7. to $10. more

Thank you for your replies.
Obviously the good nuns of St. Joseph's order will be disappointed in me

I have been attempting to reach Francis on the Grandeur but my e-mails are returned as undeliverable.
I inadvertently erased an e-mail he sent me about my upcoming cruise. This is the address I have been using.
I would appreciate your help.
Thank You

Would appreciate any information you can provide re: cost and a copy of the menu if you have it.
Is it available every night?
Thank You

I posted the other day and it seems the steak in Chops is so/so. Can I get a few comments about the other menu items?
About 4 years ago I tried the veal and it was not a really good cut of meat.
So that leaves the seafood. I know Branzino is a delicate fish and can be
delicious if prepared correctly.
How about a few comments other than steak?
Thank You
-
Any comments on the aged steaks in Chops. Are they worth the extra cost?
Or for that matter, any comments on the lobster.

Thank You from a tired Old Irishman

I can't seem to find the correct web site to get an OBC for my upcoming cruise
on GOS.
I would prefer to do it on line rather than by phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone give me some info on the prices in the Duty Free Liquor store?
Do they carry Gosling's Rum? I'll be on the GOS in four weeks and would like to know if it's worth the hassle as I live close to DE which has very good liquor prices vs my home state of PA.
Where is Francis Calimag?
in Royal Caribbean International

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Francis who had been the Suite Concierge on the Grandeur for the past few years.
