Looking for a really good shore excursion in Ketchikan. The Saxton Native Village sounds interesting, but really thinking about one of the Misty Fjords excursions.

Several offered, all expensive, but which is the best?  The floatplane over the fjords? Catamaran Cruise and then floatplane? Floatplane with crab feast? Anyone with experience at the all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab feast at 9:30 in the morning? 

Any other comments, please feel free.

Planning July 

I have been reading the reviews about the Coral in  Alaska. A number of people have mentioned that the food was not good, and very disappointing. Desserts were bland, and the only good meals were in the specialty restaurants. 

What's with the food on Coral?  I have been reading many negative comments .

In Juneau, we definitely want to go up to Mendenhall Glacier. Should we take the helicopter up for a guided walk on the glacier, or take the helicopter up for a dog sled experience on the glacier? Can't decide...

WE are going to Alaska in 2020 and I would like to know which ship to book. Also, which month is the best?

I heard May is drier but not everything is open. Mid June to August is crowed with too many tourist. And, mid-August can be very rainy.
