We are going on a RCCL cruise, stopping in Belize City. Are there any beaches within walking distance or cab ride that are safe and not too far from the pier? Do we have to be concerned about leaving the dock area? I've read some mixed reviews.

We had a couples massage on our last RCCL cruise. Of course the customary 18% gratuity was added to the massage charge. Does this 18% go directly to the massage therapists? Is it necessart/customary to tip something additional on top of the 18% and if we add that to the charge receipt will that go directly to the ladies?

We are sailing on Liberty out of Galveston in April. Is there a convenience/grocery/liquor store close to the pier where we can stock up before embarking? Also can we purchase wine on Sunday in Texas?

We got to the port at 11:30 and by no means were among the first there. It was very busy with people dropping off their luggage and heading into the terminal.

Did you feel more movement or was it rocky due to it being at the front of the ship?

We booked the balcony guarantee on Liberty of the Seas. Just found out our assigned cabin is 6214 which is at the very end of the row. We have never been clear at the end on any cruise. Are there any disadvantages to this location?

We have been on several Royal Caribbean cruises and love this line. Now that we have grandkids I see the ads for Norwegian offering the perks of kids cruise free and free beverage packages. We would love to take our kids and grandkids on a cruise. Norwegian would make this dream more affordable, but I do not want to be miserable for a week on a cruise. How does RCCL compare to Norwegian? How does the food, entertainment, organization, staff, and amenities compare? Thank you for your honest opinion.

Sailing out of San Juan 12/30/18.. Is there only one cruise terminal in San Juan. Do we have to know a dock or pier #? I didn't see anything in our documents.

We are spending one night in San Juan before our RCCL cruise departs the next day. We plan on visiting Old Town in the afternoon and evening. Are there any "do not miss" things we should know about/ What about fun restaurants or places with live music in the evening?

2 questions please:
1) Besides the main theater for the big shows and the piano bar, what other entertainment options are there in the evening? Does the English Pub in the promenade have music at night?
2) Besides the main dining room and the buffet line (Windjammer?), what other dining options are "free" without any additional charge?
Thanks.

We are sailing on Freedom at the end of December. Do you have to buy a Voom package to gain wifi access onboard?

We sailed on Freedom 8 years ago and remember enjoying the main show at night along with the piano bar. Is there any other nightly entertainment? Also does anyone remember what time the main show is? Also, when does the piano bar singer start? Thank you.

We are sailing on Freedom of the Seas which departs San Juan at 8:00 pm on 12/30/18. I called RCCL and they said the earliest we could board is 12:30 pm. We have not cruised on RCCL for several years but it seems like the last time we showed up around 1 hour before stated boarding time and we got on. Does anyone know the earliest we can board?

We are considering a Western Caribbean RCCL cruise out of Galveston on Dec. 30. We have never cruised at this time of year and never gone out of Galveston. I'm a little concerned that it will not be warm enough. We will have 3 young children and want it to be warm enough for them to enjoy the pools and slides every day. I checked the weather in Cozumel and it shows 81/82 for January. Has anyone ever cruised in January and was it warm enough to swim everyday? What about on sea days when you're cruising and a little breezy?

Questions for recent Princess cruisers
in Princess Cruises

Hi all, I just need some clarification as I am reading conflicting information. My husband and I are cruising on Regal Princes to British Isles in Aug. 2024.
1) Is the current charge for Wifi $24.99 per day? Is this a per person rate or can just one of use sign up for Wifi and then we both use it?
2) If we do not sign up for Princess Plus or a beverage package, how much would we pay onboard for a glass of basic house wine? I read that standard cocktails are $15 but we do not usually drink hard alcohol, just wine.
Thank you for your time. Trying to determine if we should get a package.
