We used them to transfer from Miami airport to Fort Lauderdale hotel and they were excellent.
Met us outside the baggage claim no problem.
Cost was $100

Thank you all for the advice which has been very helpful

We will be getting off the Spirit in April 2016 and will be flying to New York same day.
Anyone any idea what time the earliest flight would be safe to book.

Actually we rather enjoyed the Jean Ann Ryan singers. They also were good sports and fun to talk to; I interviewed one of their captains about careers in show biz to help out students at our local summer stock theater.
So did we on the Navigator in April
Talented artists who were very professional:)

We cruised with Regent, Barcelona to Mone Carlo on the Mariner last September having been on the Seabourn Quest the previous two years.
in our opinion, Seabourn was better for the design and size of ship and excellence of service.
Entertainment we felt was slightly better on the Quest
Regent food was slightly better although that was marginal.
We feel that Regents destinations are better.
Quality of tours was about the same but of course some not all are included in Regents price
Seabourn suites are better particually the bathrooms.
Generally we felt Seabourn to be a more intimate an welcoming experience although if we had not done them first we would havebeen more than satisfied with Regent.

We have done many Cunard transatlantics originally on QE2 and latterly on QM2
There is no comparison with Seabourn. the accomodation, dining and general service on Cunard are very poor now.

I have to concur with the doubts expessed.
I have done the reverse journey Southampton to Gatwick and there is little or no space for luggage.
If a car is out of the question then try National Express. http://www.nationalexpress.co.uk. depending on time the fare for two is £36.00 and the luggage is loaded on the coach, no lugging around.
Im not sure of times but really is a better option.

We would be grateful if you wuld keep posting.
We are on the Mariner, Barcelona to Mone Carlo 6th.September and are really interested to know what we can expect having previously cruised with Cunard and Seabourn.

Whilst not on the cunard list, the Casablanca hotel in West 43rd street is excellent. Small boutiqe type close to Times Sqare.
Well worth considering.

Hi, my original post was really to ask why Cunard now don't offer the cruises I mentioned in my post. They only offer transatlantic cruises together with cruises up to Quebec, why not down to Bermuda or Nassau. I still think that they have slowed the ship down too much, although so far most don't agree with me.
I agree with you totally.
I think that Cunard management lacks imagination and is to intent on dumming a fine brand down.

Its not part of the Cunard air programme but Kuwait Air do very reasonable First and business class fares heathrow to JFK.
Its not BA standard but still comfortable, alcohol is not served but food is good well worth a try.
