This is probably why Cruise lines make tipping automatic and let you know in advance. No server gets offended, and no client can say that they weren't warned.

It may be unlikely, but why take the chance of ruining a perfectly good vacation by leaving behind something valuable enough to be worth taking? I'd say leave the phone behind or buy a waterproof case or pouch. They also exist for cameras.

We also had a great experience with Celebrity, and that was 8 years ago! I can't imagine them going backwards in terms of that level of service.

Our first cruise was a honeymoon cruise... Let's just say that we may have "forgotten" to get off of the boat a few times... So there's one idea.
