  1. My last cruise was a Strictly themed cruise however I am a former dancer and a big fan of the show so I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for differences I wouldn't think it would ruin the cruise for you. The atrium of the ship had the costumes scattered around for everyone to look at, there were a couple of audiences with the stars of Strictly in the main theatre and one of the shows was dedicated to a showcase with two of the couples. As for the rest of the entertainment it was much the same; regular comedians, a few headliners shows and a couple of tribute bands etc. I don't think the Strictly theme was rammed down anyone's throat and obviously you wouldn't have to attend the shows/audiences/talks if you didn't want to--there was plenty to do otherwise.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Thank you everyone for your responses so far. Although I am young, I'm not particularly bothered by finding other passengers of around my age, nor do I care much about big attractions like waterslides (hence why we have always gone through P&O). We tend to cruise with my grandparents as well and socialise as a family. The thought of no children really does appeal to us.

It was more the entertainment side I was concerned about although I am glad that there are still sailaway parties. Are the shows still the same as well? We are big musical fans and I used to be a dancer so I love that sort of thing.

  3. Hello! Despite being an avid reader of this forum, this is my first ever post on here.

I have a couple of questions about cruising adult only on P&O. My family and I have always been interested in the idea of being on an adult only ship as there are no young children in our family and we quite like the thought of it being a little more relaxing. However, I am 23 years old and fear that an adult only ship may be a bit boring for me. We enjoy the sail away parties and all the entertainment that you get on the ships. Do the adult only ships do this as well or is the entertainment more down the classical singers sort of route? Furthermore, is the demographic considerably older or is there a good mix of younger adults as well?

Could anyone that's been on an adult only cruise shed a little light for me? I'd be very interested to hear your opinions.

    Many thanks!
