  1. I just got an email from him, which states that there are no twizy's available for the day we're in port. He offered us a 3 hr bus tour + 2 hrs snorkelling for $40pp.

  2. I think he's after contracting with some of the cruise lines. Our carnival cruise offers a tizzy tour for one hour. It seems he will be doing this numerous times throughout the day!

  3. OMG, I can't believe what I'm reading! We sailed PG a couple of yrs ago &I was totally blown away by the personal service. It's so different on a small ship as opposed to a bigger one. Yes, you're going to feel the ocean movement, but yes, you're going to personally meet so many people. Weigh it out, I can do without the rock climbing walls, water slides, etc. to have the opportunity to meet & socialize every night with other passengers/crew from everywhere to the point that when you leave, it's a teary goodbye!

  4. Hi there

We'll be in Aruba from 2pm-11:30pm on July 31. What we would like to do is head to a beach for the afternoon, find somewhere to change, then have a sunset dinner at Barefoot or Passions or wherever. We want to avoid having to go back to the cruise ship in between afternon & sunset.

How do we get back to the cruise ship after our dinner? Is there anywhere to change (no major do-over just your basic swimsuit to dress)? and then where's the best spot to hang out at Eagle Beach before we head to the restaurant? Finally, I'm assuming these restaurants are close to Eagle beach...am I right?

    Appreciate all replies!!:)

  5. This is a great thread and it leads me toa question or two. First off I have seen some great successes bidding through PL for the Intercontinental. Are all of these cases for two people. That's the big drawback that I can tell from using Priceline. I have 4 people total and I want to do a precruise stay in Jan 2009. I can get the Inter. for about $186 before taxes using Hotwire and I know up front that I am requesting for 4 people. I'd love to get it down a few more dollars using Priceline but I need to be sure that I get a room big enough for 4 people. Help!!

I've got the same issue - 4 of us in the one room too. I've got different dates than you & I've been looking at Hotwire too. There's a resort listed there but I'm afraid it's the El San Juan. How did you know it's Inter on Hotwire? What makes they're listing different from the El San Juan?
