We are taking a 5 day cruise next week. The ship docks in Cozumel on Wed. We have been to the city several times and did the Chaanakab swim with dolphins, and tour of the city. We thought about a tour to Tulum but the reviews are mostly negative, list too commercial.
What are the reviews for the Discover Mexico Cozumel Park?
Is it recommended to take a taxi to and from the park?
thanks,

turnip eater,
I checked the price for 4 passengers to Heathrow on portside taxis. The fee is L185 for 4.
Another person recommended, Colchester Airport Services. The quoted price was L129 for the same trip and 4 people. I also read some reviews and all were longtime customers that were happy with the service.
I am leaning towards booking with them,

Thanks for the quick response. I sent an email to the company requesting a reservation for our trip to Heathrow after the cruise.

Not sure if this is an appropriate question for this post but here goes.
We depart a cruise ship on June 19 and want to arrange for a van to transport at least 4 people plus luggage to Heathrow.
Do you have any info of companies in the area that do this type of service?
thanks,

I called the # on the site and got the answers to my questions. I now understand for secure reasons why not all info is given until a reservation is made for parking.
Thank you for sending the info to me,

I checked the site. IF I read it correctly, it has a shuttle to /from airport.
Does it have a shuttle from the garage to/from the cruise port? We are cruising on Norwegian.
thanks,

We have parked in a safe lot several miles from the port. It cost $50 1 way for the taxi. I am requesting info from other cc members that have parked near the port in a secure lot to share their experience.
I will check trip advisor for hotels that provide parking and a shuttle to the port.

I have read many notes about the parking, but I have nor seen any new (2014) recommendations.
We will be driving from North Fl to Miami for a 5 day cruise on Oct 25,2014
Please give me updated info where to park our car for this cruise.
thanks,

I checked out 2 parking lots with similar costs and reviews for parking cars in non terminal lots.
Here is the question, the dates given are for 7 days and less than hours that 7x24 . Each lot is charging for 8 days.
Does anyone have an explanation?
thanks,

Is Mexican pesos or US currency best for cabs?

WE are a family of 9 cruising Freedom of seas in 3 weeks. We plan to visit the Chankanaab Park. What is the best transportation to the park? IF we have to take 2 taxis it would be at least $30 for 1 way. Please advise.
Also, I found a 2 for 1 coupon on cc. Is does not have an expiration date.
Will it be redeemed?
thanks,

WE are cruising rccl freedom of the seas. Most of the time, we book excursions on our own.
Thanks for the info about the park. That is what I needed. Everyone wants to do something different, so the park may fit the situations.

I posted this message on the rccl forum, but perhaps someone on this specific cruise can help us.
We have 5 adults and 4 kids cruising Freedom in June. Some want to swim with dolphins some don't. Cozumel excursions has entrance into Chankanaab Park to swim with dolphins for $89
Is there a family pass of discount if we go as a family and visit the park and each person can do what they want?
thanks for the help,

We are cruising as a family of 5 adults and 4 kids on freedom of seas in June. One of the stops is Cozumel. What is the best deal at the park for the family if only a few want to swim with dolphins? Are there other interesting things to see and do that are not "sea World" shows?
Are there family discounts?
I also checked out Cozumel excursions. The cost is $89.95 to get into park and swim with dolphins.
thanks for the help,

If so, I'd appreciate some info about them,

This was a great help to me. Our family, 5 adults and 4 kids take this cruise in June. We have cruised multiply times, but not with kids on rccl.

Great photos , Teri.
We sail Solstice from Auckland to Perth on Feb 8, 2015.
Just beginning to research excursions.
We stop at Akaroa from 8-6 then Dunedin from 7-5
Would you please send me the names of companies you used for the excursions?

nursemom 2,
I saw the photos for train ride in Dunedin. WE would be interested in taking that excursion on our own.
Would you please share how you purchased the tickets and the shuttle to town?
You stated 2 stops but I only saw Beijing and Dunedin.
We sail on Feb 8, 2015 Solstice from Auckland to Perth. We plan to spend 3 days in Auckland area prior cruise.
Appreciate any suggestions and excursion info.

Question,
IF our grandkids are in the kids program, will there be a place at the island for them to enjoy some water activities that do not have a fee?
thanks,

Thanks for quick reply. We booked the Aqua class on an upcoming cruise from Santiago to Miami. The agent didn't mention no formal wear, but we got great info about our beverage package.
Thanks. This makes packing much easier.

Is it true that formal attire is not required at the Blu restaurant? I'm sure a jacket for men is expected?
IF true, this is great news for us!
thanks,

Andy,
As of today, The Viking Sea sailing for June 5, 2017 does not have a sign up for the Mix and Mingle party. Several people including me have sent emails to contact us and received an automated message that did not include any info for the situation.
Please let me know how to go forward so I can post it on the Viking Sea forum. It still include passengers that are sailing on the June 19 leg of the cruise and that date has a sign up for the party.
thanks,
