Is not a warmth thing. Those thin duvets just feel cheap and nasty rather than a beautiful fluffy feather duvet. Would prefer not to have blankets but better than crappy duvet.
Hi folks,
Are there duvets on the beds or sheets & blankets? If duvets are they feather or synthetic? Pillows.....feather or foam? All info gratefully appreciated. 🙂
We aren't even getting a theme on our 5 day cruise. Just "Gala" which we too find disappointing based on our pre booking research that said it would be one of the 4 themes, not none of them. 😞
We were under the impression that on the package the 15% gratuity was included for drinks over $13.50 if purchased, less the 20% discount. ie. $15 drink becomes $12 drink charged to your account. As you are suggesting, it is not really a 20% discount for drinks over $13.50 if on the drinks package. i.e $15 + $2.25 (15% gratuity) less 20% discount becomes a $13.80 drink. Is that correct?
We have heard amazing things about the Rum Baba in the Verandah Restaurant but as we are travelling in Queens Grill we are not planning to dine at the Verandah on our 5 night trip as it seems a waste. Believe it maybe possible to order this dessert by pre-order in QG......can anyone confirm from experience?
I know I may get flamed but does anyone have any success on QE with these devices? My DH is a wanderer and yet another internet package seems excessive when we are up to 3 already.
Can anyone please tell me if you have to take priority disembarkation when in QG? We don't need to depart early to catch a flight or anything so would really rather stay till (not quite but close to) the last minute. Seems a bit ass about to have the best cabins kicked off first but to my understanding, QG get priority to disembark but wanted to know if we can request a later disembarkation time.
Thanks for any insights.
Sorry folks, I may not have been clear. I meant can you order it in say the Grills Lounge or the Commodore to enjoy (paying for it as per room service) not for eating in Queens Grill restaurant at meal times.
Hi Cunarders,
Can anyone tell me if the Caviar option available on room service menu can be ordered elsewhere on the ship? Also, anyone know the type of Caviar served?
Thanks in advance.
After kicking our toes on hard cases multiple times under the bed on one particular cruise our butler was horrified we hadn't requested they be stored. He said they would take them to storage for us and return the day before disembarking. No more painful tootsies!
