I went 10/8/2017 on the Breakaway through a travel agency rec'd an upgrade email 80 days out.

Went on the Pearl 8/13/2018 through a travel agency rec'd an upgrade email 80 days out.

Going on the Escape 1/6/2019. No upgrade email rec'd. I called NCL customer service and rec'd an upgrade email 10 minutes later.

Oct 2017 Breakaway bid offer 80 days out, Aug. 2018 Pearl bid offer 80 days out, Escape 2019 75 days out no bid offer called them they sent a bid offer.

I went below the 80 day mark without an upgrade offer, call NCL and they sent one.

Did anyone receive bid upgrade notices from NCL Escape for the Jan. 6th sailing???

Wow, balconies on that sailing must have been VERY pricey. Which I guess makes sense for an Alaska cruise. Usually, the price difference between an inside and balcony is in the $300-600 per person range, not over $1000!

$1070 per person difference between an inside and balcony.

NCL Pearl Alaska August 12th thru 19th. Put a bid in from an Inside cabin to a Balcony $175 per person $350 total and was turned down. The bid was16% of the price difference between an inside and a balcony.
