  1. I have come across others with this issue. Apparently Royal Carribbean ( who also own Celebrity) have a department that authorise and sorts out all the necessary permissions for people to leave a cruise in one port and come back to it at another port. They make a charge for this service.

Sent from my iPad using Forums

We got approve letter today from Celebrity today without charge.

  2. You will waste half the day travelling (5--6 hours) on both April 8 & 11. Not to mention the time wasted in unpacking, repacking, checking in and out of the hotel, transfers to and from the airport.

Yes. You are right. But we think we only travel to India once, Taji Mahal must to see🙂

And Celebrity send us approve letter today without charge.

  3. Do an on the spot Cochin city tour by taxi (shared by 4). U can also do the backwater ride for 1--2 hours before returning to the ship before sailaway. Not advisable to do an overnight backwater houseboat & then fly to Mumbai

hi Drsel, thank you fir the suggestion.

    Our plan is as below

Apr08 leave Cichin. fly to Delhi

    stay Delhi for three nights

Ape 11 fly to Mumbai from Delhi to catch the cruise

The Celebrity said they will send request to the port office to approve. It may cost extra money.

    So weird?

  4. Our group of 10 persons booked Constellation of Apr 02.2019 to Dubai&India. We will leave Cochin for a private tour, and come back to Mumbai to meet the cruise. The Celebrity asked us to e mail to request special disembarkation. And maybe charge CAD70 per cabin .

Is there someone who had the same sutuation?
