  1. Anyone been in this cabin? I booked it for 3 but when I did a mock booking for 4 it came up as well. It is possible that a 4th person will be coming with us. I had called a cruise consultant yesterday and he said there would be no problem booking a 4th person in the cabin at a later date and we wouldn't have to move if the 4th person did not come. Today I called again and asked but was told it is only a 3 person cabin???

That cabin has a pullman bed which will only accommodate one extra person so you will need to change you cabin # to a cabin that will accommodate 4 people. As it looks right now there are no E1 cabins available that accommodate 4 people and the only balcony category as of right now that does is a D1.

  2. We had that cabin on Liberty and we begged, pleaded, talked to everyone except the captain to give us just one lounge chair and all we got was NO and a different reason from each person we talked to. We were very nice when asking so if wasn't because of being rude or anything. It ruined my cruise because I spend so much time on the balcony reading and relaxing, that is what I go on a cruise for. I don't plan on ever sailing the Liberty again unless they change their rules about no lounge chairs for any balconies except jr suites and above.

When did you cruise on Liberty? We just got off Navigator OTS and all the aft balconies had lounge chairs which was nice to have. I would not say that if we do not have lounge chairs that my cruise would be ruined but it would be a bit disappointing. We really enjoyed using our balcony on Navigator and were hoping to have the same amenities on Liberty but that looks like it might not be the case. We really enjoyed watching the wake as we sailed but it is much nicer to be in a lounge chair than sitting up. It looks like there used to be lounge chairs but now they have taken them away.

  3. I never notice any more vibration than when we've stayed in regular cabins. This was our 4th time in an aft and we have another booked, so I guess that should answer that question :)

We prefer the corner afts (3 of the 4 times we've had one) but will take one of the center afts if that's all that's available.

On Voyager class our favorite has probably been 7688 with the giant port hole on the side & open back. It's partly covered & has a HUGE balcony.

We have JS 1100 reserved for our upcoming Med cruise. We've never stayed higher than deck 9 so we're looking forward to trying it out.

Glad to hear you enjoy them!! We are excited to try one out. We are even going to switch our upgrade preference to no upgrade for this sailing as it would be our luck to get upgraded to a non aft JS. Don't get me wrong, the JS would be nicer than our D1 but we really want this cabin location!! We booked this cruise only a few weeks ago and were stunned that any afts were still open. 1390 was the only one left and from what I see on CC everyone loves it. The balcony is the second one in on deck 10. The railing does have the infrastructure thing but it looks like it does not block much if any of the view. Cabins 1390 and 1690 are where the infrastructure starts and ends so it sticks out less than the 4 middle cabins. Also with NOS and MOS cabins 1390 and 1690, the balcony is wider than the cabin making it a huge rectangle balcony. They show pics of 2 loungers and 2 normal chairs with a small table from other's reviews. It should be the nicest balcony we have ever had!!!

  4. Thank you Cindy for all the pics and a great review!! We are very excited as we are sailing on NOS in September. We have sailed on her once prior and love the Voyager Class of ships. We sail on Explorer this coming Sunday (the cleanest ship in the fleet post noro break out...lol). We are really looking forward to trying Sabor as we love Royals other speciality offerings!! We will have to also give Chops new menu a go too. We were lucky to snag an aft balcony cabin 1390. We have always wanted to try one and cruise #25 will be our first aft. Did you find that your aft balcony had more vibration than other parts of the ship? Would you book an aft again?

  5. I'm almost at a loss for words. I would have been thankful that no one was on the balcony when it happened. I would have then made sure Royal cleaned it all up and would have been at the front desk until it was done....every shard. If I had more concern I would have dealt with it while on the ship, because once you are off the ship, you are not going to get any where, other than a canned response. If this still is an issue for you, maybe book an inside or ocean view cabin next time. I really do not understand what you are hoping for if you are not looking for compensation???? I'm sure they have no idea what caused it to break and if they do, they are never going to pass that info along to you. You will get the legal bs line every time. Thank you for your concern, yada yada yada. So maybe cruising is not for you and your family????

  6. Our ports of call are

Labadie ( I think that's how you spell it)

    Falmouth

    Gran cayman

    Cozumel

My DH is into his waterspouts and snorkeling so I hope he will get his fix in Labadie, Iv had a look at different things on various websites and I think you call it mystic mountain in Falmouth that does the bob sleigh ride I think we would enjoy that as well as climbing the falls. I'm not really a lie around person I'm kinda a busy body and like to make the most of everything ;)

Welcome to cruising, you are going to love it!!! We are sailing on our 24th and 25th this year. Those 4 ports are great. We have used both Royal and private tours in the past and we have found that the private tours are less crowded and you get a more indepth tour. It all depends on what you feel comfortable with. Royal does offer great tours as well. The snorkeling at Labadee is not that great!! I would recomend doing that in Grand Caymen. Nativeway Tours is one of the best we have used and offer great tours that get you back to the ship with lots of time to spare. The stingrays are a must!!! They have a web site if you google it. As for Falmouth, we always use Mark Morris Tours. I think his web site is listed as Marks Tours. He always gives us a great tour. He will also let you pick where you want to go, so you get a custom tour for your needs. He is listed on Trip Advisor. If you do want to see ruins in Cozumel, I would stick to the ship tours as the travel there and back is a long one. What ever you choose to do, you will have a great time.

  7. It's so cold up her in Canada... How cold is it you ask?

When you step out the door of your house your nose hairs freeze, and seconds later you vomit and then fill your pants. :o

If Noro was cold related I would have had it for the last month due to the darn Article Vortex. Maybe Fain should have blamed it.;)

Are you getting the snow that we are today? We live in Niagara Area and it is still coming down. Gotta love winter. I see in your avatar that you own a nice looking Stang. I too have one. Mine is a 06 gt vert in legend lime green. email me if you can
