LETS PARTY

I am currently on three different Princess roll calls for upcoming cruises. I am keeping a detailed roll call list for each of the cruises which I post on the roll calls periodically. I have noticed in the past few months there have been 5 people signing on to one of the roll calls using the very same wordage, which is: “Hi Everyone! I am sailing on this cruise and looking forward to chatting with all of you”. This is usually their first and only post on Cruise Critic, but they have a signup date from a few years ago. They never come back to say anything else. If it isn’t their only post then it is their second or third over a few year span.

 

Are these people real? Is this the work of a Troll? Has anyone else noticed this happening on their roll calls?

Doing a B2B on The Grand.....have it on both roll calls.....:eek:

What about if your b2b ......no dining room for lunch, do you now have to go to the buffet? This may have been answered and I missed it

I see that you are on the October 5 roll call for 10 night Mexican Riviera, as are we. Are you by any chance going to Tessoro Resort in Manzanillo?

We too are on the same roll call. $35 pp versus Princess's $99 pp sounds like a much better deal, but we have a lot of shipboard credit so the princess tour old essentially be a freebie, too.

we might have to reconsider our whole strategy

I took a group of 65 one time 40.00 each incl round trip transportation ....almost everyone on the roll call went

It's the Tesoro......you can do it for 35.00 on your own 10-15 for a cab

I've done it twice

For me it's the Midnight Buffet. I loved going there just to meet all the night Owls like me now no one is up after 12:00 am :eek:

Who remembers the buffet they had every night after the midnight buffet I believe it was at 1:30 or 2:00 AM............

We are sailing on May 1 2016, Grand, 10 Day, Mexico Riviera and I need to get my Beer strategy right !

 

1. Pre-purchase 5 for 4 does not charge Gratuity, Right ?

 

2. It also does not include Princess Craft Beers. Can 5 for 4 be bought on board ? This would add gratuity but might also allow more choice in Beer.

 

3. Is there a daily Happy Hour - Buy one get 1 for $1 ?

 

I am thinking judicious use of 5 for 4 and Happy Hour can keep the beer locker stocked :-)

 

BTW on pre-purchase 5 for 4, Bud Light is more expensive than Heineken and Dos Equis ?????

The Bud Light are 16 oz Others 12 oz

I will say the same about our 50 plus Princess cruises. Maybe twice? :(

80 cruise only missed 3 ports......cabo twice & private Island in Crib. All tender ports........

What's the weather typically like on California coastals in September? We were also thinking of bookng one around that timeframe.

You won't know tell then....but it will be between 70-100 day time

Left out of Sa Pedro in Nov once it was over 100 deg

We have been in one those cabins L303 excellent for Alaska or cold weather cruise......but going south warmer weather...you could probly get a balcony for the same price....I think that would be a better choice

I was on the Grand about a year ago & the Star 2/15 ....both had them

There is no golf pro, there used by the activity staff for long drive & closest to the pin events.....you could also pay to use them........:)

We had a great time with Mark, Judy, and Trish when they were in Hilo.:D:D I may give you a shout in Oct. when we come through on the Crown on the HI, Samao, Tahiti cruise. Be fun to see you again.:D Boy I sure wanted to go back on board and sail away with them.:(

I'm assuming this is on Star Princess? If so, then if you have a triple/quad balcony on Caribe the beds will pull down out of the ceiling. You won't even know they're there...

Thanks for the replays....does anyone have a picture, would like to see where there located...theirs only 2 of us in the cabin....but last time in a outside cabin we had 2 hanging on the walls and you could hardly get in your bed... we were always banging in to them.........if there in the ceiling no problem, on the wall ..just want to know were they are.......Thanks again for all the help, Rob

We're back on Maui now....

Enjoyed our time on the Grand 3/5-22.......

Here's a pic taken at the Tuscan Inn SF 3/23..the Scot's were on the coastal

We gave one of them a hair hat we had some good fun and lots of wine.....

The last 3 cruises I was on the tournaments are $60 and pay $350 for first and $150 for second if the table is full. The cash game that follows is 1/2 dollar blinds.

Its 1/2 NO LIMIT.............

Great cabin ...better then a balcony for Alaska ..it can be to cold out side

Floor to ceiling windows...you feel like your out side...we were up graded to this cabin from a OV outside.....we were next door to the suite cabin L303 9/7/13 to Alaska.... We were on a b2b we had to move out the 2nd 10 days to emerald 502...... Bummer.....

If Princess did have a dart board on any of their ships, I would imagine that it would be an electronic soft tip machine versus a regular board for steel tip darts. Liability concerns and company lawyers can be downers...
