  1. Let me know if this is the wrong/right board to post this question to, fairly new to CC here. I will be sailing 9/23 on Carnival Conquest and we will be taking professional family photos while in Grand Turk in the afternoon. I am considering going to the spa for hair and or makeup and any tips would be greatly appreciated. My main question is: Is it cheaper to book ahead of time (precruise) or wait until I am on board? I know once on board they often have port-day spa specials, but I can't remember if they were any good or not. I've cruised a handful of times, but never used the spa. Thanks in advance!

  2. Thanks all! Sounds like putting it all on one room service card is the way to go. We're not fancy, we'll just be on the balcony and beds or seating with casual fare, plates in lap or side table enjoying the views and family time. We may be doing second breakfast in MDR or Lido too sometimes as suggested above - hubby and LO like their food!! I just love the wake up call of an almost breakfast in bed scenario!

  3. Hi all, We will be cruising the Carnival Conquest 9/23 and have one balcony room and one interior room across the hall from each other for my husband and I, our 3 year old daughter and my mother. Our daughter will ideally sleep with grammy, but we'll see what happens.:):) We plan on getting room service for breakfast most mornings and eat all together in the balcony room. My question is would it be better to just place the entire order for all 4 of us on that room service card so it is all delivered to the room we'll be eating in or should we split the order between the rooms and just carry the tray(s) over. It is only across the hall. It's not a huge deal to carry over, but I do want to make sure we get our food at close to the same time. It's my first time in a group with multiple rooms, so info is welcome! Thanks in advance!

  4. I'm super late to this post, but for your photography outfit question another cute way to coordinate outfits is to have one female in the family wear a cute patterned dress, like a floral, maybe mom or if one of the kids is a girl (especially the baby of the family, that is sweet) and then everyone else can wear shirts, dresses etc in different colors all taken out of the colors in that one dress. That way its different but still coordinates. And those in pants all stick to either all khaki's or all jeans (I'd go with light linen khaki's for a cruise for the guys and loose flowy dresses for the girls) I do photography on the side and just love this style for beachy pictures!
