This is a HUGE relief for our cruise on the Anthem on June 17th.
Now I have 6 overpriced EMED tests I won't need:)
Did you submit for reimbursement through your insurance company? I just submitted my claim, so I am curious how other's experience was

Give the customer service team a chance to handle your complaint. No need to go directly to the Executive level.

Thanks for posting your review! We did a similar itinerary on Serenade in August.
If anyone is considering this itinerary, do yourself a favor and book it right now. Norway is truly magical.

We were on Serenade a month ago and found the ship to be in great condition. Loved the ship so much, we are already looking for 2019 dates on her!
-
Allison has returned to Serenade.

Serenade is doing them in MDR

We leave on Serenade this Saturday from Copenhagen. I’ll be using the SetSail Pass in the app and I’ll report back on my experience.
-
Any insight on when the Serenade rotation will be occurring? Maybe on Saturday?

Stupid question, I’m sure, but does this also apply to a Norwegian Fjord cruise that departs Denmark and only calls in Norwegian ports?
Edit: I’m pretty sure the answer to this is no.

I am positive Royal Caribbean monitors these boards, so I just have to say a massive THANK YOU to whoever assigns the guarantee cabins. My fiancee and I will be doing the Norwegian Fjord cruise on Serenade of the Seas next month and we booked an interior guarantee (because there was no other cabin category available at time of booking, as well as wanting to save some money).
When I checked on our reservation online this weekend I was absolutely ecstatic to find a hump balcony cabin assignment. THANK YOU, Royal Caribbean, for making us even more excited for our upcoming cruise/honeymoon. I wouldn't even consider sailing another cruise line!

It's beautiful and nature is overwhelming. There are a lot of wrinkles in Norwegian towns (i.e.: Steep hills). We enjoyed them very much. We had a bus tour in Geiranger, but apart from that we just walked around and explored.
Mind, that Norway is CLOSED on Sundays. Some tourist shops and a few others will be open.
Thanks for that! We have a sea day on Sunday, which is probably a blessing based upon everything I have read.
Did you find that there was enough to do in each port with just exploring? That is what I think we are planning on doing, except for Geiranger....I think we will take an organized tour there.

Was this the Norwegian Fjords itinerary? If so, any thoughts on the itinerary? We are on the Fjords itinerary in August and finding info on it can be challenging!

Radio,
Not much to add except thanks for taking the time to post for us. I always look forward to checking in twice a day.
Hope Casio Royale is friendly tonight!

Katie Turner is now the AM on Oasis as of last week.

What night was love and marriage?

I know this isn't RC related, but it looks like Richard Spacey will be sailing on the Celebrity Summit, according to his twitter account. I'm assuming he will be taking over the CD role there.
-
Yes, unfortunately.
I believe it will be charged unless you call upon a port outside of the EU.
You can also get it refunded if you wait in a long line at the airport.

So happy for Jerome. Just got off Liberty today and thought he did a really great job, especially considering the crowd onboard. He's my new second favorite CD. I think people are really going to enjoy him.
-
Looks like Jerome Sueur will be replacing Rich for two months on Liberty.
-
I am really interested now who will be taking over on the Liberty for Rich.
We will be onboard for the 3/6 cruise.
-
Any chance that Jerome heads back the Liberty to cover for Rich Edwards while he is on vacation?
-
i did find a video on youtube of a zip line rescue on Oasis
Oh man, that's hysterical.
-
Weird question, but does anyone know who the Activities Manager is on Enchantment?
Also, happy to hear that Jerome is being well received on LB.
Disembark MSC cruise in Marghera - how?

Hi all,
I have a similar question that I am having a difficult time finding the answer to.
My parents are sailing on the Armonia in June and will be disembarking in Marghera. Their flight is at 12:30pm, but according to the itinerary, their ship is not scheduled into port until 10am. Does anyone know if they can disembark and catch a taxi directly from Marghera to VCE? Or will they have to be bussed back to the main terminal in Venice before heading to the airport?
