  1. Wondering how kids camp is running with the covid restrictions!? Sailing on the Panorama with my vaccinated 6yo in April and she loooves the kids club. Are you limited to a certain amount if days/times? Are they doing night owls at all or the kids dinner on lido?

Oh also, have they stopped the Dr. Seuss activities…story time, parade and the dr.seuss brunch?

Thank you and sorry for all the questions! 😂

And another alchemist stepped in Nicola. He’s the one I expected to be here instead of Anna Maria. I’m guessing he’ll replace her when she leaves on Saturday

LOVING following along!!!! Sailed on the Panorama last month and sure do miss the ship. If you happen to see Nikola at Alchemy again can you ask how long he will be on the Panorama. We just loved him on our cruise! Thank you!

Sailing the Dream 5/5/19... how can I find out which dining room we've been assigned to? Due to late booking, Late dining was all that was available and  wait listed for YTD. If we are still wait listed come cruise day I'd like to check-in with the Maitr'd  right after we board to see if they might be able to switch us for something, anything other than late but not sure if I go to Crimson or Scarlet. Thank you!!

You could ride the street car to the hotel after?  I haven't done it yet but I'm researching for my cruise in September.

Ohhh, I will have to look into this! Im not bringing a car seat so taking a cab/uber is out and If I can bypass paying $75 to hire a shuttle that would be amazing.

We stay at Best Western Plus New Orleans Airport Hotel in Kenner.  Close to the airport.  Free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and the shuttle will take you to dinner and pick you up.  Shuttle from the hotel to the port for a fee.  I can't remember what it costs.  Less than half an hour from the port.  Free breakfast.  It seems like there are some stores close by.

It isn't the nicest hotel, but it's clean.

    Awesome, thank you!

  6. Flying to NOLA the day before our Carnival cruise and looking for Hotel recommendations that are near the AIRPORT and possibly in walking distance to a store where I could purchase wine/champagne and soda! Staying in the Quarter is not an option, Jazz fest going on when we fly in and hotels are outrageous!!

Also, staying a night in NOLA after the cruise, booked a room at the Astor Crowne Plaza on Canal and Bourbon. Anyone know if this hotel is in walking distance from the cruise terminal?? I'm fine trekking a ways but I will have my 3 year old terrorist and luggage to handle.

    Thank you 🙂

Without a doubt pasta bella. You board on deck 3. What I do is take the atrium staircase to deck 4, walk to the back of the ship, take the aft elevators to deck 11...and you're there. Everyone is going to be using the forward and atrium elevators...nobody will be using the aft elevators.

Oh fantastic, my cabin is on deck 12, with any luck it will be ready after some lunch. What about a bar, which actually should have been my 1st question haha.

We were on the Magic in Sept 2018. Our cabin was on deck 7. It seemed to be a good location, easy access to deck 5 and the Lido. Only thing I would look for is to make sure you're not near the Atrium stairs or elevators.

Oh no! The room I booked is near all of those things. I booked deck 9 #9274. Well hopefully it’s not going to be too noisy. My mom wears a hearing aid and my kid wouldnsleep through an explosion so guess ill be packing esr plugs for myself 🤷🏽‍♀️

  10. So I’m pulling the trigger on booking an 8 day southern Caribbean on the Magic to celebrate my 40th, May 2020.

I need help with cabin selection! Im definitely  booking a balcony room; it will be me, my mom and my daughter who will be 4. For those of you that have sailed on Magic or other dream class ship, what deck do you like best??? Im looking at either Lido or deck 8 now, I think. I dont know what area is best either, aft, mid, fwd?? Port or starboard??What are you thoughts and experiences?? Pros/Cons.

I havent cruised in 5,000 years and have only had interior cabins before.

Im booked on the Panorama in Feb 2020, I have an aft extended balcony in the Family Harbor but obviously that’s not an option in this class ship. Im excited to check both of these ships out!

    Thank you!
