The bus takes about 25 minutes. It runs once an hour. The fastest way would be a taxi as a taxi makes no stops and you won't have to wait for a bus. The taxi cost would be $20 unless you go on a Sunday..There would be a 25% surcharge on a Sunday.  if you are four there would be no point in taking a bus unless you love buses.

Are there taxis at the ferry terminal? Thanks

  2. Please help me get this straight... I am on  so there is a free ferry. If I wanted to take the ferry and then go to Clearwater Beach how would I do that in the fastest way possible? there are 4 of us so we could split the taxi cost. What is the approximate costs for a taxi or how long would the bus take?

    Thanks

They could also mean Q. It depends on which of those two restaurants is on the oy on zag. 🙂

I actually like La Cucina a lot. I’d still rank it below Moderno though, as that could possibly be my favourite.

Edit: looking at posting history we seem to be talking about the Joy, so the bbq place is Q.

I’ve not yet been on a ship with that restaurant, so can’t comment on what it is like.

Yes, on the Joy not oy on zag 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ hahahah and Yes I meant the BBQ restaurant not the Brazilian restaurant. thank you!

  4. It's been a few years since I cruised,  have 3 nights of specialty dining on the oy on zag. I booked Teppenyki no fee listed. I booked Cagneys it says priced ala carte as well as La Cucina. I'm confused are these no longer included in the SDP? Anyone have experience with the BBQ restaurant? thinking of swapping that for La Cucina.

    Thanks

  5. I’m in the same boat…. Haha yes pun intended 🤪

anyway, should I call and ask to upgrade . My cruise is about $1000. 00 less than what I paid or should I ask for a future cruise credit? I want something! So out of the loop of cruising I forgot to check for a price drop before we paid in full 2 weeks ago!💔. Thanks for your help!

  6. Advice please.... my trip was also cancelled. I had booked with a travel agent, told her I wanted cash refund. She said she filed the claim and it takes up to 90 days. In the meantime I emailed her 3x asking about the refund. After the 90 days reached out to her again. She said she contacted her BCL rep but now sits too late for cash so I have a FCC👹. I told her how I didn’t want that, I trusted her.... she said she did her job,NCL messed up but I can try to call and fight with NCL.... gee thanks! Why did I use an agent?

before I call I want to know if anyone had this issue or luck with fixing it? Feel hopeless 💔

Ship movement is going to limit exposure time, and that will be exacerbated if using a long lens.  I've seen someone get reasonable results on a ship by stacking many relatively short exposures from a fast, wide-angle lens.  With enough total exposure time and good post processing he was able to overcome the light pollution of the ship itself.  I don't recall if he used any kind of tracking or if the exposures were short enough that it didn't matter.

Personally I'd be more inclined to drive an hour or two to a darker area at home and shoot than try to worry about it onboard unless there was something very specific happening I wanted to capture.

Excellent points... thanks! I think the tripod will be left at home!
