  1. We were on grandeur in Feb and the laundry service was amazing . I asked for most things not to be tumble dried . Everything came back perfect , on hangers or wrapped in cute little parcels like a gift ! We went home with virtually no washing to do . Was one of the highlights of our cruise 😂

  2. On our recent Grandeur cruise we were in an F1 and the nice IT guy just gave us WiFi for extra devices without a charge 😊. Quite right too tbh as it’s a bit ridiculous to only allow one device as standard on an all inclusive cruise

  3. Sounds ridiculous ! We did our first ever cruise in Feb ( on Grandeur) and we organised our own flights to Miami from LHR. So we could choose  when to travel. Also had an unexpected advantage of not having to be herded onto a bus to get to/ from the port . We just got an Uber . It was particularly nice on disembarking day as we sat quietly having a coffee while everyone else got called to leave the ship and we didn’t leave until about 9.10am -in  the last group to leave .

Hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction. We had 3 big suitcases !

I’ve been on three of the ships and I don’t recall having to hold down the button for the hair dryer. Ask your cabin attendant if the other kind is available.

I did request another hairdryer  and that’s the only thing I’ve been refused so far ! The curly cable is also so tightly curled that it constantly pulls the dryer out of the wall socket .

  5. Hmm I always wondered why g&t’s I have at home are better and fizzier than I often get in restaurants and bars - this must be the reason ! I always thought they were using large bottle of tonic that have gone flat .

Yes they really should keep the mixers refrigerated. Might have to ask for my tins of tonic to be served separately in an ice bucket !

There are often guest performances, such as a comic, magician, or solo artist, and the production team members might perform individually or in small groups. If you’re lucky, the cruise director will bring a local act on board on nights you don’t leave a port until late (not sure if this happens anymore post-shutdown).

I’m pretty sure each production show only runs once per cruise segment.

My question—where are people seeing this list of shows?

The 2024 cruise is on the Grandeur with the shows I mentioned. I agree quality of cast/show is important, but seeing something different would be nice.

If you search for a particular cruise and go to Itinerary then scroll past cabins and itinerary you finds Shows.

Thank you ! Sounds great !

I followed the instructions of the post higher up in this thread as to where to find the shows ⬆️

  7. That’s really interesting thanks - I found four shows listed for our February cruise . Having never been on a cruise before , how does this work on a 12 night cruise ? Do the four shows just re- run , so 3 times each ? Or is there a different kind of performance every night for the 12 nights ? Thanks 😀
