Similar issue here. We were looking to book DFW/DUB RT in March. Economy mileage seats were 62k each and Premium Economy was 283,500! BC was 100k higher. Gimme a break AA.

Thanks to all!

Hello again. We're joining the Silver Moon on 28April and wondering about water on excursions. Last Spring we were given disposable .5 liter plastic bottles and am wondering if that's changed to reusable or should we bring our own.
Thanks for the update.

Lovely fellow. We had the pleasure of his company one lunch on the Silver Muse. Glad to hear he's on the Silver Moon, we'll see him next month.

We prefer 10 or 11, port side - whichever is available. Nine has a chance of noise from above early morning when the pool deck is being setup.

Returning from Venice last Thursday we changed planes, BA to BA in Heathrow headed back home to DFW. There was a require security check (shoes on but electronics and liquids in the scanning tray) and the process was fast and plenty of lines available. Maybe a 5 minutes wait. It was a nice surprise how quickly it went.

I'm hopeing that one of the ESPN International stations will have the NCAA Basketball Final Four and Championship games. Fingers crossed. Guess we'll find out

We prefer being more mid-floor rather than closer to the laundry, stairwell and elevators. Currently booked for Suite 1109 on the Silver Muse, April 2023 Osaka to Seward trip.

I'm chiming back with a hotel suggestion. Last time in Venice (shortly before the pandemic, late fall 2019) my DW and I stayed at Hotel Moresco.
It's looks lovely and a great suggestion. Thanks for chiming in!!

Oh, which date are you sailing? I will be on her from April 1 to April 18th.🙂 and you are welcome.
The Italy Forum has some really informative threads.
The Italy forum is packed with information - good reading and helpful. Thanks!!
We're on Lisbon-Venice so we'll be there enjoying Silversea's hospitality at the same time🙂

Have you tried the "Italy Forum"?
Thank you Lois - I hadn't and will do. We hope to meet you on the Dawn in April!

As luck and a change in airline schedules would have it, we find ourselves with a free day after disembarking the Silver Dawn in April. Our plan is to drop our luggage at the hotel and we'd like to engage a local guide to take advantage of the day. Any referrals or experiences in Venice would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

For future reference, AA has several options of their "5 Star" Services programs at MIA that provide fee-based escort services from arrival, departure, lounge and other assistance as needed. We have a close friend who travels through MIA on a semi-regular basis and has found their Departure services almost a must. No more lines. Here's a link:

My concern with July/August in Alaska has always been that there are many children. Am I mistaken?
I believe you're likely correct. We were on the Silver Muse, 10 days, 17 June 2019 and there were a dozen or so very well behaved grandchildren however, the crew was bracing for close to 70 kids the following cruise and the general feeling was it was going to be challenging. Extra event crew were being brought on board to help with daily activities.

Thanks to all for your observations and advice! All most appreciated and we're moving forward with our Regent plans. Hope to see you on board.

We're still new at this, retired, a couple of Silversea cruises thoroughly enjoyed and we're looking at Regent Seven Seas for a specific itinerary, LA-Miami. I'm sure many folks have sailed on both and we'd appreciate your opinion on what we should be looking for if we decide to move forward with Regent.
Thanks much!!

Not necessary to say much more. Activities booked!!
Enjoy your day

My Butler was Anu who was really nice👍
I'm guessing it's the same Anu who was our Butler on the Silver Spirit in 2018 and we thought he was a gem amongst many. We lost track of him last year but your mention brought back great memories of his attentiveness and good conversation. Thanks Lois!

Have a great cruise. Cruise Director Rico is a lot of fun.
Agree, Rico is a great CD; lots of talent and great conversation. We've been lucky to been on two voyages with him; one of the Spirit in 2018 and then Alaska on the Muse in 2019. I'm glad to read he's back on the Muse.

We certainly anticipated itinerary changes…this one especially. We are just so happy the cruise is still on…and know we will have a wonderful experience. I cannot begin to imagine the logistical nightmare this has been for SS.
Couldn't agree more. We'd be very happy to cruise in circles for a week or so. Glad your voyage is still on.

Sorry about the confusion, that would be $90 each way per car, not per person. SIlversea repriced fares up around $90 pp so, times two, it's that same $180 round trip. We've used our local (DFW) company for the last 25 years and I can only remember one traffic surprise where we cut it a little close for comfort. Fortunately, still made the flight.

Just as a point of information, I chatted with our SS rep this afternoon regarding the new door-to-door service on our previously booked cruises. What I found was that it's not included in the 2022 trips that were booked in September 2020 and January 2021. Our two new bookings, one from the 2023 schedule and one from an earlier schedule, door-to-door is included. Priced up at $90USD pp, a virtual wash with our current car service. We're 24 miles from our departure airport.

Hi again, well, I went ahead and reserved a spot on this jet boat excursion.😃
Good for you! We loved it hope it's a perfect day. My bride reminded me that the reason we had our jackets on was that it was drizzling when we were leaving the Silver Muse. Enjoy!!

If we're lucky the butler is Anu who we met in 2019 on the Silver Spirit. It was our first Silversea cruise and we couldn't have had a better introduction. Maybe he'll be on the Dawn when we cruise in July. Fingers crossed.
