Thanks for your response. That will be my next attempt

I would love to get a response or suggestions on the following.
We, too have a cruise coming up that will probably need to be covid cancelled. I understand that FCC is offered but with a limited timeline, I believe that it is December 2022, This is not my first cancellation since the FCC used for this cruise was from a previous cruise to Japan that Princess cancelled, December 2022 might still not be workableWe have an additional consideration. As seniors in our middle 80’s, cruising may not be an option, Since thousands of dollars are involved, I would like to offer some alternatives .Princess has said no to. When I suggested it.
Due to delays and rescheduling, we may not be able to cruise due to health, physical and health issues related to advanced age.
I would like to have the option of gifting family members with our FCC. I would feel good about them enjoying the experience, and becoming new future cruisers.what a great way for the cruise lines to develop a whole new generation of travelers.

Depends on when you cancel. If you make of your mind before final payment, you would get your money back. Deciding last minute, may be a "force FCC."

Our Princess Cruise to Japan was cancelled . We filled
out the form to receive a refund. Because $4300 was cruise
credit , we are now being told that it will continue to be ONLY
cruise credit. We are both in our mid eighties and future
cruises are not something we are planning. In addition, some
new health issues have developed, as well. Princess has
said cruise credit or lose it. I asked if I could transfer our credit
to a family member. No, can’t do it. Has anyone else had this problem?
has anyone else had a better solution?Any info would be great.y appreciated.

Has anyone experienced the loss of many $ and cruise credits to to cancellations.
We have and asked the cruise line if we could pass our credits on to younger family members. Advanced age and new health issues prompted that request. The cruise line has rejected that alternative leaving us with several thousand dollars lost.
Would like to hear if others have experienced the same
