Hi all,
We are cruising in May of 2024 with Princess doing the Cruisetour. We will do the land part first. When I'm looking at the excursions, nothing shows up for Mt McKinley or Denali days. We have the Natural History tour which was part of the package. Does anyone know where I would look for things to do there or would I contact Princess?

Hello,
We will be cruising on Princess for the first time next spring. What is the Princess medallion? I know there is the Medallion app, but I saw a medallion holder... kind of looked like an apple airtag went into it. Does Princess use this to get into your cabin and around the ship instead of the card (like Carnival)?
Just trying to figure a few things out...
Thanks,
Shannon

Hello all,
I am researching for our very first Alaska cruise next summer, but have a few questions.
I am looking at a few different itineraries. Some include Mt McKinley, it doesn't appear that there is much there, am I wrong? Would it be better to have 3 days in Denali, instead of 2 days Denali and 1 day in Mt. McKinley?
We are looking at Princess Cruises. Can someone explain the difference between on your own and the Denali Explorer itineraries?
What is the difference between the "Direct to the wilderness Rail" and the "Princess Rail'?
I have been reading some of the posts and I believe what I am discovering is... for the cruisetours that the hotel and ride part is covered for the land part, but the food is not covered, is this correct?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi all,
Just booked our Christmas Cruise to the Western Caribbean, I'm so excited but have to keep it to myself a little bit longer as we are surprising the kids (teens). I have been on 2 other cruises and they were both in July, where it was smoking HOT outside. I'm not sure what to expect for weather for this trip....what should I pack clothes wise for the weather? Will it be warm enough for the pool and water excursions? We currently live in NC and it will be cold by then. But we are originally from central FL and have spent many Christmas' in shorts, though it might have been to cool for the pool, so I'm looking for suggestions please.
Thank you,
Shannon

Thank you for your input. The cruise has already been booked and we are sticking with it. While I understand that not all parts of Denali are open, this just happens to be a anniversary trip and not sure we would be able to go another year. This is our first time going to Alaska and for me the West coast, so we are just excited to be able to see something new and much different than where we currently live. (Key West). Hopefully one day we will be able to return and have a better idea of what we want to see and it won't be so overwhelming.
