What is the "3/4 rate" that is listed at the bottom of this document?

Essentially you will be getting the worst rooms (the only ones remaining) in the category that you are bidding on then?

Thanks VT! I am very excited about it! Most of the “problems” with the cabanas are not things that will bother me much! I am just excited about the Edge in general and specifically for the cabana day now.

Still, looking at the price Celebrity charge for a bottle of Veuve, paying $150 for the Cabana setup including that champagne is still a good deal, it's less than the pre-order price for a bottle.
Exactly my thinking! Thank you!

$150 is for 2 people and includes:
Four Large Bottles of Evian Water
Selection of Six Chilled Beers
Unlimited Soft Drinks
Fresh Fruit Skewers
Cabana Food Menu
Evian Facial Spray
Ice Cold TowelsChoice of one of the following:
One Bottle of Grey Goose Vodka
One Bottle of Veuve Cliquot Rosé Champagne
One Bottle of Grgich Hills Opulence Chardonnay
As we will not have a drinks package, the $150 seems like a good price to have all of that included. I have read reviews and looked at photos - I am well aware of the shortcomings. I still think it makes sense FOR ME. We will not be glued to the space, but I think it will be a nice place for us to relax at times throughout the day.

It is under “Dining”
Because I won’t have a drink package, it is totally worth it for me.

I just booked a Cabana on the Edge for an upcoming cruise (on a sea day)....it was fairly difficult to do on my “Cruise Planner” but I am glad that I did it.
I know that there have been some concerns about these spaces but for $150 it made total sense for me.
anybody else going to book one?

VT - I am curious....if you had to choose just one positive and one negative for the actual cruise experience....
biggest disappointment?
most pleasant surprise?
-
If you can help yourself there ^ then that is where I will be hanging out !
-
I was once told that you should only play slots on a casino during the first few nights of a cruise as they get progressively tighter and tighter......any thoughts on that?
-
Thank you VT! As you are the EDGEXPERT, do you know if they have different prices during Port Days and Sea Days?
-
Not EXACTLY a dining question, but.....does anybody know if the cabanas are priced per PERSON or per CABANA?
On my Cruise Planner it is not clear. I can click on the Split Cabana (2 guests) and it shows $200. I can click on the Full Cabana (4 guests) and it shows $400. For some reason, I cannot reserve one - no dates available and I doubt that they are all booked because they JUST started to appear.

Wait....you know it’s snails, right?

Just curious how others feel.....are you more excited for the 4 different styles/decor OR for the 4 different menus? (Can’t say both 🤓)

That sunset looks nice, but the French Onion Soup looks incredible

My TA had no idea that there was a new system for dining. I had to explain what the system was and why it was important for me to have “anytime select” dining or whatever Celebrity calls it. I am glad I have the flexible seating times and can book to eat at each of the 4 MDRs at appropriate times.

Favourite food item (or a few) from the OVC?

Those extra steps will help with the extra calories from every slice! Well-designed

Is there any fishing anywhere?!
-
How do they sell the Concierge as an upgrade? What is "supposed" to be better?
-
I am not too worried about the privacy thing - it is a cruise after all. Hopefully it is made clear that the chairs across from the cabanas are intended only for cabana use.
-
Thank you so much vtcruising! As always, you are THE best Edge poster (although there are many other great ones).
I suspect that I will not have a drink package on my cruise which would make the Cabana (and the price) even more appealing to me specifically. I appreciate having all the additional information and photos.
Santo Winery
in Greece Ports
Posted
Hi everybody 👋
I searched the forum and did not find much info on the Santo Winery in Santorini.
My soon to be wife and I would like to have lunch there but I would love to get some more info.
Does anybody know what the best way to get there would be?
Does anybody have any suggestions for other things we could do in the area?
We are hoping this might be a relaxing day and that we can avoid some of the busy-ness in this port.
i would greatly appreciate any thoughts or advice.
