We drove down to that preserve. I can't recall how expensive it was to get in. We would have gone w/ 2 or 3 people but we had 8 and just didn't want to drop that much cash. I have read the snorkeling in the preserve is fantastic, but I was still on cloud 9 from the snorkeling at money bar so I wasn't too upset we didn't go. Plus we will be going back to Cozumel time and time again so I'll see it one day!

Buy the pressure sealing films that go under the cap and use the original caps.

Shampoo and conditioner bottles, buy the resealing caps off amazon. Fill them to the top, top off with a tiny bit of water if necessary. Put the seal on them and cap tight. If they take them out for visual inspection it wont sound like there full of liquor cause there will be very very little air inside if they go to shake them. 

Pack them in your checked luggage w/ your toiletries...  Also bring your allotted wine and or sodas, check your cruise line's restrictions. 

We went to Money Bar in Cozumel. We had rented a van, but about 20min after we got there a couple we spoke with had walked 45min to it. Can't imagine the taxi would be that expensive.

The snorkeling was fantastic! And there was no cover charge.

We went to royal palms beach club in Grand Cayman. There were a few fish here and there so not great for snorkeling, but it had a nice sandy beach. 

I was in Cozumel in Sept. Rented a car and drove to a few spots to drink, snorkel and explore. We had 8 people so it was much more economical to do it this way.  Money Bar on Cozumel is amazing! The snorkeling is fantastic and you even see people on excursions drop off at their beach to snorkel! Just buy a drink and leave your things on the table and hop in the water. They rent snorkel gear but I'd recommend bringing your own. There was quite a current when we were there so it was some exercise even with fins on but it was fantastic!
