  1. Just off ventura - why oh why is the HOT breakfast items put out before 7am with no utensils?  If they dont want people to have the full breakfast before 7 then dont put the food out.

Saw lots of people using fingers to pick up bacon/sausages/potato.

Also the food is cold - on 3 different mornings the fried eggs were stone cold at 7am

The buffet food area is just not big enough in terms of 'personal space' & not enough tables for 2

  2. We got on Ventura on Sat 1st July at Ocean Terminal - onboard time was 13.15.  We dropped car of with CPS at 12.15, was onboard having first drink from our free deluxe  drinks package at 12.30.  No one queing, no wait at checkin and straight on.

    Cabins available at about 14.00ish

For information these are the berths at Palma

    Yellow - Arvia

    Green - RoRo berths

    Red - original cruise berths

Blue - nearest public transport No1 bus terminus

In the olden days Ocean village use the Arvia berth at times, as did Thomson

We was dock here when in on Harmony of the Seas - took us about 1 hour to walk to cathedral.  Tui and Norweigan were in on the 'Red' docks as they had boarding

Well done.  I was taught "don't ask, don't get".  Sounds like you did very well.

i asked and definatly didn't GET - this is annoying me more than anything on these boards at the moment , P&O are taking it on a case by case basis and not being consistent..........bye bye carnival.....

P O are being flexible, how long for who knows ? They don't want to change T&C''s, IMO, which I still say is wrong, however,  I spoke to them and they were very helpful. Just tell them your concerns and what you want, you may have to negotiate, but you might just get a good solution.

they are not being flexible - there was no hint of letting me move my cruise and now i have a fight with my insurer.  The agent just reinforced the T&C and basically said tough - 100% canx

I know where my money will be going in the future and it wont be carnival plc!

  6. this is a disgrace by P&O - i was flatly refused the option to move to another cruise.  I was even prepared to pay an extra £1k for the privalige.  This is discrimination and is very wrong!!!!  i tried to cancel on the monday for a holiday going on the friday

I'm not familiar with how a fly cruise works but I don't see why the process should be different to any other flying traveller who has a negative result - upload your test result along with your passenger locator form when you check in online, or show these documents at check in at the airport.

how are you going to upload the test results?  P&O wont give you free WIFI to do it(i think you only get free wifi for the PLForm) and as mentioned, who will monitor it all

Strangely I'd more or less asked this question in relation to leaving the ship for the farewell to Barbados tour at the end of my cruise. It was indicated I would need to buy the £18 LF test and this would suffice if any new regulation came in.

what happens if the test is positive in the sea day before arrival into barbados?  Do they off load to a hotel in barbados?  For that matter, what do they do with positive testing people in the carribean?

  9. Testing now needed before you get on plane to come home - will be interesting to see how P&O handle this - RC did it for free before getting off in barcelona.  Can P&O do this amount of testing - at least it is only a Lat Flow.  More expense for the criuiser? (RC was free testing...)

Hi, is this using Express Test? I've been looking at that one myself.   My flight scheduled arrival 6.30am (TUI 27) so was looking at 9.00 am or thereabouts but wonder about border control delays, baggage collection, collecting car and going to centre. I see you've gone for 8.00am so assume you think no delays?  Also on form I do not know if I have to put all cruise destinations or just Barbados  may I ask which you did please?

i just put in barbados - yes express test £69

With regard to cruising and the new testing/quarantine rules,  is there any reason why you could not take the PCR test in board with you, do the test either the night before you disembark, or on the morning itself, and post off the sample on the way home?

That way you would have the test result the next day, meaning that the quarantine period would be only 24 hours.

Problem is landing in Jan1st, the post wont be picked up till 4th.  We have booked drive thru at LGW for 8am on 1st with results by 10pm on 2nd
