There's no reason that they ever would.... fans aren't on the list of prohibited items.
I like to use mine for drying laundry/swimwear that I wash in my sink. Magnetic hook on the ceiling, damp item on a hanger (after rolling in a towel and stepping on it), and fan, and the item is dry by morning. Not certain, but word on Serenade is that what caused the fire last week.

Bottom line is if you try it you are breaking the rules of your signed cruise contract. Is it that worth it for a bottle of Jack? Just buy it on board and don't worry about being caught or confiscated. You are talking a $15 dollar of booze. I don't think $15 is going to break your bank.
Jack, no
Limoncello, sure🤣

How would one use this document above for insurance purposes? Most everyone knows the cruise line is allowed to change itinerary if need be?
I think some policies have payouts for missed ports. Ours doesn't

Oh, interesting. I guess it must be a late show then to cater for both early and late seating diners.

Pretty sure the European segments will be at or close to capacity. The prices have been high for months.
I'm coming back in Barcelona

I was on the mini segment from Brisbane to Hong Kong (after our Suez mini segment was a no go) and the ship didn't appear anywhere near full capacity then. You could walk into the evening show 5 minutes before start time each night and there were plenty of seats to choose from. It was still a good cruise, however, and I come back here to reminisce.
Only doing one show a night until we get to Ravena

Thank you Laura and John for the pictures. They are lovely! I hope you both are doing well.
Laura, if remember correctly, you will be on a X cruise soon? Bon Voyage!
Someone mentioned a building reminding them of Atlantis.....yes, that is the Atlantis Dubai.

I have seen reports that there are only 700-800 guests onboard for the current Dubai to Cape Town sailing. If true that must be one spacious ship! 🙂
No one seems to know exact number.
But that's the ballpark
John is investigating 🤣
Top Tier posted 700 something, can't be many pre Gold

This came up in Captain Corner today. John said the Captain would keep them posted, but thought they would pass by on the way to Ghana
It's not an actual island😉
