Can someone please tell me if there is a shuttle bus available at the airport to the pier. I am a solo traveler and do not want to spend $25 on a cab. Sailing next Saturday, Aug. 26th. Thanks.

According to news reports I read tonight, it says that cruises shouldn't be affected by change in policy. It has more to do with individuals going not through groups. Now, that could change overnight but Miami Herald is saying that based on what was released to them, cruises will go on. I'm happy because I just booked Empress for August 26.

I received a very nice email from RCI telling me not to worry-we are a go for our sailing-- I too am on the Aug. 26th date. Are you flying in?

August 26th out of Tampa on Empress to Key West and Cuba!! My 21st cruise and my 18th solo cruise.

Just booked my flight from Atlanta to Tampa on Southwest. Sale priced til midnight tonight--$172. Delta had gone up to $265 so I jumped on this not wanting to play the rate game any longer. Cruise paid for and now flight paid for!!!!!!

My thoughts also. I have final payment in one week for my August cruise. The whole reason I booked this cruise was for Cuba. I do not want a "day at sea". I've had plenty of them on my 20 previous cruises.

For those of you that might not have kept up with the Patrick's thread-- Brenda went to be with Allen this afternoon. Please pray for Season and the boys.

You'll achieve that goal with us, we'll be right there with you!!! Can't wait for the week to start, and the full moon is heading out with us on the first night.

Also have the Leonid meteor showers Sunday night after midnight!!

hey Debbie and Steve--fellow cruiser from Marietta here sailing with you on 11/17. Flying in Sunday also--hope the rain stays away for the flight.

the start date confused me too but I am hoping Capt. Johnny will be on. Sailed with him several times on the Mariner. Love to hear "good morning, good morning, good morning"!!Thanks-
