We cruised last November with 6 adults and had no problem with anytime dining.  We arrived most nights around 7pm and were seated by 7:15pm... We had the same table and wait staff every evening as well. We informed Carnival that we needed our reservations linked together so they knew we were a good size party.

You should be able to call and have the credit applied to your booking.  I was able to add the on board credit to 5 cruises over the next 18 months, we were given $25.00 for 2 of them and $50.00 for the other 3.

Deck 6 (6452 and  6483) aft wrap balcony sleeps 3.  I believe deck 7 and 8 only sleep 2.  When  you do a mock booking for 3 in that category, it shouldn't allow you to book those staterooms that do not allow for 3 guests.  Good luck and have a great time!

IMHO.... I personally like the changes... we started cruising in the early 90's and wavered in the early 2000's for the relaxing atmosphere of the all-inclusive resorts... with all the changes in starting in 2010 we began enjoying cruising again and have cruised much more in the last 10 years.  Nothing wrong with changes sometimes things must be updated to appeal to the masses.  If you dislike the changes that a particular cruise line is making... then I would like to suggest looking for a cruise line that continues the same amenities that you prefer.  Happy sailing!

Definitely the older ships.  We recently sailed on NCL Breakaway and had no smell at all.  The worst we have experienced was NCL Sun (Cuba) it was everywhere.  Really ruined your appetite!  

We have smelled that "smell" on NCL and Royal... as well as Carnival, must be the design of some ships.
