Geez, that's a bummer...we are on the February 4-March 9 2024 trip from Singapore to Tokyo with both HK and China on itinerary.....was hoping being so far from now it wouldn't be an issue...thanks for the info, ..UGH....

I am curious too. We have the same question.

Also got this notice. But we are doing Capetown to Capetown in December with one of the ports being Namibia, which apparently requires this vaccine.

Yikes we had no idea things would be closed. Nor that weather would be bad. Yes agree with above note as to why South Africa is planned in December. Am hopeful that since COVID took a hit on many businesses that perhaps more things will be open. We are doing touristy things like penguin beach and table mountain but hoping to be spontaneous and walk around
capetown exploring. Hoping the safari wont be any less incredible than usual. Same
with regent. How does regent do over the holidays? Hoping entertainment, food, service etc is still high quality. ????

Hi! My husband and I are going. VERY EXCITED!! Yes, very little action on cruise critic. We r on the December 21 cruise. You? Plane booked. Excursions booked. We r doing 4 nights in capetown first. Then two night safari at sanborn. Second time
on regent. Only been on splendor so hoping this older ship is nice. Wonder if it is full?? Where are you from?

We booked Singapore to Tokyo for 2024 also. Looks like an incredible trip! Yes, any thoughts on this welcomed!

Don’t exacrly know about the ear thing but someone told us about a patch that goes behind the ear?? Will check!

Love the idea of plastic zip locs. Going to bring a collapsible laundry basket, thin plastic hangers. I do always bring a cross body small bag in the eves for lipstick and phone (for pics). And yes a shawl or long sleeve top. Anyone know the best motion sickness meds?? I’d rather bring them vs buying the pricey ones sold on the ship. Which works best? Wrist bands? Pills? Ear thing?

I am with all of you. We have 11 months to go and one would think the cruise is tomorrow. Also thinking purses, cocktail dresses, wraps for the eve, other eve clothes. Especially wondering how one wears the same dressy clothes over and over on a 90 night cruise. Love all your posts and suggestions!

A few questions, thank u in advance!: we r going on crystal world cruise 2020 jan 22-April 21.
1. How do you manage variations of “dressy “ clothes for 89 nights?!? How many cocktail dresses for women (men: suits etc) for the 3 months? How many informal “outfits”? If ie 12 +? formal nights, do u wear same thing 2- 3-4 times? Or?
2. What is the dress code (men and women) for a casual dinner at waterside? Or any of the serenity restaurants? Or just a salad at the marketplace? Or just a show? Or just a drink at a casual bar?
3. Sounds like even “informal “ nights are still
somewhat dressy so, again, how many changes of clothes do we bring for the ie 30-40 of those nights??!! Realize we do laundry and have things dry cleaned but so curious as to approximately how many of these eve changes of clothes do we bring? Thank u!!! Janie and Bernie from denver.
Anyone on Voyager?

We’re on the ship. We initially were told a slim chance to get to capetown. Huge wind conditions and rocking. Then a pilot boarded the ship this aft with again slim hope. Somehow they docked. Quite a surprise to everyone in these strong winds. We r hoping to make our eve flight. The passengers were all upset and we wondered about you all, the upcoming passengers. Sounds like crisis was averted.
