We did the 12 day on Miracle to Alaska from SF last August and loved it! Food was great, size was great. We had all ages with us - 16-84. Everyone raved about it.

Just got off the miracle (Aug 15-26) to Alaska from SF and of the almost 30 carnival cruises I’ve been on it was the worst food I’ve ever had. I had very strong words for the survey. I was sooo surprised.

What time does the buffet usually close after dinner? The last ship I was on (not Carnival) they closed at 9.30 which seemed quite early. There was always a big rush when the late night buffet opened at 11.00 because a lot of people had missed eating earlier and there weren't many other options. I only really go for cookies and coffee anyway at that time, but it seemed weird that you could get a meal at midnight but not 10pm. Cruising on the Pride next month so hope the cookies are as nice as I remember.

Yes the buffets are hard stop at 9:30 at this point which to me is too early.

Haven't seen any talk about if the new late night snack option is a hit or miss. Anyone who has tried it give your opinion if its a hit or miss.

Compete and totally a miss. I was hoping it would be more in line like a midnight buffet. It’s like chicken fingers, fries, the usual chocolate chip Cookies and Super dried out old pizza

  4. You get your card and perks upon getting on the boat, you card will reflect that when you get it at your door on day 1,  and so will all the perks (which aren’t much different from plat)

the two biggest are the free meal and the one time room upgrade. The meal you can take on your next cruise but the upgrade I believe it is on the following cruise, congrats btw!

Splendor decor reminded my wife and I of a pink TARDIS.😂

Say what you will about the Farcus interiors, they are definitely unique and always make me feel like I'm on a cruise ship as opposed to in a bland hotel or somewhere else. I'll miss them when they're gone!

Totally agree! I don’t think anyone is talking shite here. But it’s definitely unique eh? Splendor and radiance ftw!

ohh you should have opened a bunch of new cards for subs!

I hope everyone paid you so you're not carrying a balance.

I did the “I’llpay it at the end thing” for 7 of the 9 rooms, on the two I didn’t have access to enough info for I put em on monthly auto pay. But it’s my two biggest rooms , a balcony on floor 8 for 3 @4667 and 4 @5334.

Even with royal you only have like 30 days to transfer to a TA to obtain group rates. If it's already been 30 days too late even had it been royal who seems to have great group rates. I'd be more worried it's all floating on my card. People seem bad I've known for backing out last minute if they have nothing to lose. I've gotten to where I'm like put it on your own credit card, I've been stood up after I paid for cruises. People dont seem to get final payment at 90 days after that its nonrefundable..they think I'm making it up and have a magic way to get a refund.

I didnt want to get into crazy specifics.. but It’s only been three weeks.

I booked just before my 10d Alaska cruise. (Uhh we might be at almost 4 wk now)

it’s only 29,000 dollars for 9 rooms and 24 people. Not gonna break mah bank. 🙂 15k has already been reimbursed to me (and I’m 7k in the hole) for my own rooms. So yeah. I’m ok!

I was on the Miracle twice in 23-24 - short hops to Catalina/Mexico. I love the ship. I characterize the decor as the result of taking Farcus to Disneyland and then to one of the older hotels on the strip in Vegas, where they fed him LSD and sat him down at a drawing board with the big box of crayons. Hence all the "Alice" tributes.....

LOL ALL OF THIS! Gatsbys garden is a trip, like a garden prominade inside the Titanic. With all that said the ship is very well maintained. I took this video just the other day.

Unfortunately with Carnival you can't pull individual bookings into a group like you can with, f.i. Royal Caribbean. You have to first make a group and then book your guests in that group.

Figured! Thank you so much for this info!

    Buffet. Sorry

oi I made a lot of errors (that’s what i get for using text to talk) I really hope the miracle goes in for that dry dock! I’m on her for July 2025 in Europe.

I’m then on the Legend for Aug 04-14 25 in Alaska.

I just walked off the Miracle on Monday. (Aug 16/26 Alaska). I swear to you I am

no Karen and I have another 5 cruises booked on Carnival. (I take between 3-5 cruises a year)

The last time I sailed on the miracle was September 2021. I have to say, and my husband completely agrees that this was the absolute worst food I have ever had in my entire life. The guys burgers were even dry. Guys is usually the saving grace!

The buffet was only open until 9:30 PM at night,  and the staff was highly aggressive both at the bars (except a couple shout out to Jens and Lili) and about getting rid of the food as soon as they deemed the bigger was closed. They had line signs like at comic con that said END OF LINE NO MORE/CLOSED,  it was super weird and off putting.

What as worst is that very little things that had flavor in it, or as not cold or dry.

I was very much not alone in that in that so many people were complaining on the group chat for this boat o.o

they need to fire the head chef and bar manager

  13. OK, So friends hear me out, this is a situation.

About a month ago, I started booking a couple of rooms (Aug 04-14 Alaska) between my Uncle, my parents and myself so it was the only three rooms.

However now at this point (Aug 28th) it’s balooned  up to 23 people and nine rooms (5 balc 4 window)…..Should I have done this differently? With 9 already booked rooms (all 29,000$ under my single credit card)  Is there anyway to go back and see if there’s some kind of rate that I could’ve gotten or can it still be applied?

I have personally booked every single one of these rooms and put the names down for all of them. It’s all floating on my one single credit card. (Dunno if that makes a diff for booked group rates)

    Thank you for any help!

Hi all! We’re taking a cruise this summer and looking for tips on how to keep my preteen & young teen safe. Both my daughter (13) and my son (11) have been cruising since they were young. However this year, they want to be able to go around by themselves with the friends they make on the ship. We’ve already set rules that they can’t go in anyone’s cabin/no one allowed in ours, not allowed to go to room only floors (besides our own), they have to check in every hour via iMessage or carnival hub, don’t leave drinks unattended. What else can I do? My daughter is unfortunately very physically mature for her age and I’m worried about men mistaking her for older than what she is.

hi!!! I sail carnival for 90% of my cruises. My Daughter is 14 and son is now 12. They’ve been on 10 cruises in the last two years and I think you already did your due diligence. Every hour you might find is a bit much greene but you can adjust that as you go along though.

My kids always have their own room I just ask they be in it by 10p unless they ask or are at a scheduled activity. I tell my kids the same about going into others rooms or inviting people into their room. But I don’t have the floor rule, yI find there is too many activities on various floors. My daughter is in the same boat. I can hardly tell the difference in these three images between 12.13 and last month on the Firenze at 14!

I have a friend who booked 30 minutes before they took it offline. Saved about $1500. 🙂

I waited until midnight and booked :x I didn’t realize they raised the prices! I kept refreshing the page until the sale popped up. Did not realize the prices rose 😮
