I am currently in Alaska on board the Koningsdam, travelling with my DF. Our TA gave each of us $100 OBC, and that OBC was on his and my HAL confirmation. However, it did not show on my account when I boarded but was on his account. I waited for a day for it to show, and when it hadn't, I went to guest services, showed them the confirmation, and it was added to my account that evening. L.

I have HIA, and been to most bars on this trip (Ocean, Seaview Pool, Casino, Lido bar and Panorama), and I have not been able to get away with NOT signing the receipt for alcohol. I told them I didn't want to, and asked why, as I have not had to on other cruises I was told and they said it is for inventory control for HIA. I even had to sign for my double Americano at Grand Dutch Cafe. I'll order a fresh squeezed OJ tomorrow to see if I need to sign for that... L.

That being said, my Juneau port map that I received today said that she will be berthing at AJD. I really don't know what to say!! Assuming that she comes in nose first as she normally does, our room won't be visible as we're on the port side, but I'll try to get up to deck 10. I will be wearing a red jacket, and madly be waving small Canadian flags....or, you might see my large Canadian flag!
