This is my take on it:
Yes, Pina Coladas, mudslides, french caribbeans (try these--excellent), all the usual frozen drinks, are included. In addition to thinking about alcoholic beverages, bottled water for use on board and also to take ashore is big for us. Probably 3-4 bottles each. Do you like a Coke/Sprite with lunch/dinner? Those are included too. Do you like specialty coffee/tea. Another thing included.
We usually have the Classic included in our cruise price, but if not, for us it would be worth it.
What about can Coke Zero?

Do you possibly know if "canned" soda is included in the Classic or Premium packages on Celebrity? I just don't like fountain soda!

We just got off the Equinox with the Classic package. Our thought was start with the Classic and if we are paying more for the drinks we want, how much? If it makes sense to upgrade, do so. We didn't and walked off with an additional $25 drink charge for the seven day cruise. No need to upgrade for us, very happy with what was offered.

This is a link to a link...I found it on main Celeb board but I think it had to do with something seen on the Celeb App which I cannot access...the charges appear to begin after 10 a,m...???????
This is not for just the Edge. It is across Celebrity.

Milkshakes included? WOW

I hope Celebrity doesn't. We are soooo done raising kids and hearing their complaints. lol

Thank you. We recently booked the 2019 December South America cruise on the Eclipse for 16 nights. We just can't wait to start this vacation. Quick question? Does luggage fit under the beds?
-
I finally picked Celebrity Eclipse with my fingers tightly crossed in hopes of having a wonderful vacation to Chile from Los Angeles in November. Thanks to everyone who helped me choose. 16 nights but sounds awesome!

Most reviews tend to be negative do to happy cruisers not thinking they need to let any one know while complains want everyone to know. Read them with a grain of salt as most things that people complain about are subjective or a very personal experience.
thank you so much!!! I chose Celebrity Eclipse to Chile from LA. I wont read all the critic posts because they tend to make all cruises look bad. haha

Take this for what its worth...just another anonymous internet guy giving my opinion...but I loved Vision. I think its a beautiful ship. I would do another cruise on that ship...or any ship in that class...in a heartbeat.
There's so much about that ship that is great, like the adults only Solarium pool, awesome views from the Viking Crown Lounge, and beautiful 2 story dining room.
That is so refreshing to hear after all the reviews I have poured over for days. It's so discouraging to think of spending so much money on a neglected ship, as others have stated, and to spend 10 or more days if it doesn't have hot food or smells musty. Please tell me you have been on the Vision since her drydock update? What age range would you say was on the ship when you sailed?

If you really want to do the Panama Canal, go on the Coral or Island Princess. They were built to transit the canal. There are lots of outside viewing areas for Canal Day. Most new ships today can't do the canal and the cruise lines would rather position them for other cruises. Do a full transit if you can. EM
But isn't Princess mostly for a much older crowd? Or am I mistaken? I just don't want to be on a sleeper cruise.
-
Thank you to all who responded. This is a tremendous help! I considered RC Vision of the Seas and all the reviews bashed it. Then I selected NCL Pearl and all the reviews seem to complain intensely. This is so frustrating. lol. n We really do want to go through the Panama canal but the boats going there are limited to older, less appealing ships, it seems anyway. For sure we won't go during Holidays.

I am 54 and my husband is 60. We like to stay up late and have fun. Prefer a 30's-50's kinda crowd with minimal children (already raised mine. all done). Any suggestions? No specific itinerary in mind. Just want like a 10 day happening cruise. Don't care if it's a big ship or smaller one.

It is called "Cruise Critic". If we can't find valuable information here...then where? It doesn't exist. Take care and thank you again for being candid.

Canned soda? No one else seems to cover this with the PBP.
-
Is bottled water included in the PBP? RC doesn't include it!
-
Also, is the cruise price total quoted by Princess on the website going to include the cruise gratuities? RC charges a gratuity based on the price of the cruise.
-
What is the current rate for 2019?
-
Also, do they charge for room service?
-
What is the rate now for Princess deluxe beverage package and what % is the gratuity? Thanks
-
I sincerely appreciate your postings. Unfortunately I have had to choose another cruise but it is on the Caribbean Princess so I am sure it will be fine. Without your input we would have been miserable in Dec 2019 to Panama and Central America. 16 nights! Yikes! Have an outstanding vacation.

I guess I am looking for a superb cruising experience. I will probably pay through the "you know what" to get that. Which has been your fav cruise ship thus far?
-
Thank you so much! Is it true that the food is pretty much boring or are you finding some items to enjoy? I am booking a 16 night cruise on this ship, possibly, in December to Panama and really hope with all my heart that it is a nice cruise. I also hope you are enjoying yourself. I appreciate the honesty.

I am so concerned about the price of this cruise possibly not being worth what you get for your money. It's a long cruise if you are not happy with the service and food. It's risky. So many people are complaining about the food and service on this ship. Are there mini refrigerators in the room? Are you finding enough to do to keep yourself busy?
Celebrity Eclipse Beverage Prices w/o Buying Package
in First Time Cruisers

Does someone know the price of canned soda, regular coffee, and bottle water on the Celebrity Eclipse? I'm trying to decide if I need to purchase a package for beverages.
