My husband has mobility issues.  We are booking the Wonder and would like to book a cabin where we would have a view of the island from our cabin. Do you happen to recall which side of the ship, port or starboard we should book for the island view?  Thank you.

Others will chime in , but in most ports there is no way to know which side ship will face , or in Cococay which side of dock your ship will be on ,   The best island view would probably be aft… as most ships face out / away from island docked , hope this helps and others please chime in , thanks

Not that you've asked about specialty restaurants, but just so you know, Chops is no longer open on embarkation day on Oasis.  We were on earlier this month.  I suspect (but don't know for sure) that this is a function of the fact that they are serving the modified Chops menu in the MDR to the Key folks and they simply do not have the manpower to service both venues effectively.  I had been reading, recently, about the poor service in Chops on embarkation day, which I suspect is a result of a stress on serving staff.  I guess it was best just to close Chops completely and focus on the Key crowd.  Giovanni's is open though, if you are looking for a specialty restaurant on embarkation.  If you have the Unlimited Dining Plan, it is included.

A few days ago I booked a noon lunch in chops grill for wife and I embarkation day.

Oasis 5/10/20 sailing, booked it in cruise planner

  3. After refurbishment what are the options for specialty coffee (latte etc) that’s included in refreshment package.

I know that Starbucks in still an upcharge

    how about

    Cafe Promenade?

    Park Cafe ?

Even better if someone on board could chime in or post coffee menus for

    Cafe Promenade

    Park Cafe

and any other premium coffee opportunity

    Thanks

  5. I have a question that might not be affected by refurbishment,

on Oasis is there a lower deck you can walk around on with views of ocean off sides of ship , other than running track.

    -

on Summit and on Anthem you could walk down each side of ship on a lower level ( dining room level area ) if my memory serves me correct , Summit for sure , there were doors near upper level of MDR , then a few as you walked forward on ship as well

    -

hope Oasis is similar, but it looks like just running track 😑

    -

if you have been on Oasis please chime in

    Thanks
