I couldn't even get one of the larger print versions that were requested through the disability link. They did post a copy near the excursions desk that was basically a print out of the app. Wasn't the easiest to read but sometimes better than scrolling the app. I really wish they would bring back the old navigator on request

It is worth it if you take the time to do all the photo opportunities. You can book it in advance for the cheaper price and then review your pictures on board. If you decide the package isn't for you, just visit the photo desk and be refunded (as long as you have simply viewed photos and haven't downloaded any). Just make sure you visit before the last day.

Canada is dropping travel requirements as of October 1 (including testing and ArriveCan) ArriveCan will remain optional. Given Disney a few days to update as it was just officially announced today.

They just updated the policy today and I believe it now includes language for the under 5 vaccinated. Biggest change was that those 12 and under aren't required to be vaccinated to sail.

In all the times that I had a shared table there was never a good match with the other people so it made showing up for dinner something to dread instead of look forward to. At least with the new system you would only get stuck with the mismatch once instead of the whole cruise. When you are able to choose your tablemates, either before or during the cruise it is so much more enjoyable.

For those hoping, ArriveCan and the current border measures have been extended to the end of September

If you were travelling together one account would be fine. It may be easiest to have him download the app on his phone to complete for himself if he is coming across on his own.

We booked when there was no smoking allowed inside. This may be our one and done with Princess even though we like some of their itineraries. I'm already dreading the headache and other reactions I get from cigarette smoke. Am trying to look on the bright side that now I don't have to budget for the casino as we won't go anywhere near it!

Very helpful info, thank you! We are there on June 3 and we are assuming most of the shops will be closed for the bank holiday. Looking forward to exploring the island and hoping for beautiful weather.

Sorry this happened, kidney stones are no fun at all. I am impressed that you both kept such good attitudes about everything. I hope you get a do-over vacation soon!

This would be good to know as my mom is waiting for heart valve surgery right now!

Not sure why it's a big deal to bring your own?
Don't need to order it
All pharmacies carry Meclazinecwhich is just the generic for Bonine or Dramamine II
We can't get meclazine in Canada. We do have other options but most of them cause drowziness.

I can't get past an error when it tries to upload my passport. It scans fine but can't continue past that step. Given this I have no confidence in this app to be at all functional for something that is now deemed mandatory. Add to that I'm travelling with someone who doesn't have a smart phone (and we live across the country from one another). Although if I can get the app to work I should be able to upload her documents/info once we meet up but I have no confidence that the app will allow it and at that point we are already in transit. It also doesn't sound like customer service is very helpful. Very stressful.

Mine just got me a price reduction yesterday

Antarctica (please let my December cruise be a go!)
Transpacific - would love to do a Japan to Alaska and a Sydney to NA west coast
Australia
New Zealand
Northern Europe (Have a British Isles booked but would love to do the Scandinavian countries as well)
Honestly the more I read itineraries the longer my list gets!

What was the rate before?

In some cases it may be do you approve a vaccine that can be more easily transported and administered to particular populations (like the many remote northern communities in Canada and I assume parts of the developing world). Already the Pfizer vaccine is not going to the Territories in Canada (at their request) as the Moderna vaccine likely to be approved this week is easier to transport. I think the decision would be easier if we had answers about infection and transmission rates for the vaccines as opposed to just symptoms/illness rates

We did similar to Tripmaven but we stayed the night in Aquas Calientes. That gave us the opportunity to enjoy the site in the afternoon and then again before the train arrived the next day.

First cruise was about 12 years ago and was an opportunity to meet a group of internet friends that decided to do a 3 night group cruise. I didn't think I would enjoy the cruise as much as the company but I was wrong. Had a great time and now love the longer cruises. Fingers crossed I get to do the month long South America/Antarctica cruise I have planned!

It was the Azores for me... I never expected S. Miguel to be so green, with free range cows- supposed to be the happiest cows in Europe- because the climate is a gentle one, although wet. Not at all touristy; pleasant people and wonderful scenery.
But I have been there when the heavens opened... it felt like home (The Lake District)
My mom wanted to retire there after our visit and I could definately spend more time there.
I think the place that was the most surprise to me was Assisi. It was on our itinerary for a group member who was more on the religious side but churches have never been my thing so wasn't expecting to really enjoy it. I found myself wishing we were staying longer. The people were wonderful, had some good food, enjoyed just walking around and spotting all the beautiful touches in the city.

I found Venice disappointing and sad. The weather was awful and some of it was underwater, which didn't help. Went out to some of the smaller islands and enjoyed them much more. Not sure I will ever go back!

I have so many places on my list to see that I usually look for new itineraries. The only cruise I have done more than once is the short 3 day out of Florida to the cruise ship island. Done that one 3 times always with different people who wanted to try a short cruise to see if they like it. The rest of my cruises have all been different so far although there are some places I would love to go back. I've done land touring in some places that I have later visited cruising and cruised places I later go back and explore further. I look at it like there isn't a wrong way to go as long as you are able to go. Looking forward to getting to more of South America and Antarctica next year as long as things stabilize but wouldn't say no to a return to the Caribbean either!

I'm booked for the one with Kirkwell (Orkney) in May 2021 leaving from Southhampton. That and Edinburgh are the stops my mom is most excited about.
