  1. I see this post was started in 2018.  We sail the Magic June 2020.  My wife and I have been disagreeing over room service.  I'd like to have coffee delivered in the morning but she believes coffee and other items cost.  This is only our second cruise on carnival so we're still learning the ropes.  Does anyone know if this menu is still current?

  2. I don’t foresee the luggage being an issue.  My son has cruised many times and said the size of our suitcase is small enough we can carry it on. My wife, 10 yr old daughter and I will each have our own suitcase but none of them are big.  They are all small enough for airplane carryon.  But all the other information has been invaluable.  Had no idea about the hall doors being closed.  I know my wife would have been mad had we not known we can simply go through and go to our room.

    Thabks for all the information!!!

Also, I might add that if you plan to be there early, allow time for traffic. We sailed out of Tampa last year and had FTTF  and had picked the earliest time (DH wanted to get our monies worth). Wasn't so bad until we got close to Channelside Dr, then it turned into a mess, not only were people trying to get to both the Carnival and RC terminals, you had people leaving the terminals and there was something going on at the Florida Aquarium. I took us much longer to get down Channelside Dr and to park than it did to get checked in and board the ship.

I hope we have that solved.  We are staying in a hotel close to the terminal the night before.  If worse comes to worse, it’s within walking distance from what I see on maps.

  4. I have searched and searched and can’t find anything dealing solely with FTTF.  We are first time cruisers and decided to do the FTTF.  There are some things I’ve been able to find out but still have questions.  We are on Paradise sailing from Tampa in July.  The main reasons we did was so we could go straight to our room and the priority tender in Grand Cayman.  But what I can’t find is what to expect the day we leave and what to expect when we tender in Grand Cayman.  Anyone with past experience that could give insight I’d appreciate it greatly!!

  5. We are first time cruisers and first time to Cozumel.  We thought about doing a dolphin excursion but many say they’re way overpriced for what you get.  My wife loves the beach and likes snorkeling.  I’d like opinions as to whether we should stick with a dolphin encounter, one of the snorkeling excursions, or go it alone.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  6. We are first time cruisers.  We are in U109.  It’s an interior room.  I read on Carnival’s website that ALL staterooms on Paradise have a mini fridge now.  Anyone know if this is correct?  Also if anyone has pics of interior rooms I’d love to see them.  Looking at the ship layout, our room faces perpendicular to the other rooms so I’m curious as to how it’s laid out versus the pics online.  Thanks for any input.
