Sail7seas, not anymore. Since she joined Costa cruises in 2001, the old Tropicale adopted the cylindar type funnel used by Costa and has since kept this funnel shape. If anything has changed, it is just the paint and logo changes.

I also noticed that the stern had an addition added to acheive a square look, a design choice I suppose by P&O when they bought her in 2005.

I have video footage, as per a P&O cruise video from 2006, of the ships 2005 refit in Palermo, Italy.

EDIT: Any complaints besides the rather obnoxious and ear-splitting whistles/horns, located on the funnel and radar mast?

If you ever sailed on the old Pacific Star from P&O in 2006, what was your experience?

What does the combination of 4 long and 1 short blast mean or just 4 long blasts?
