Yup, that was our luck! Didn't even know they were doing a reno on Navigator when we booked. We're on Independence in April now. 

Thanks Rasmonkey! As it turns out I have a little more time to make my decision, as I was on the Navigator cruise that was cancelled! We're now rebooked on Independence in April, which also goes to Labadee 😊.

the future credit isn't going to be available until Feb 27th!  so that doesn't even help right now.  i appreciate it for the future, but for now we all have off the week of the 24th. aw man, this sucks.

my daughter is going to be devastated!  we had no idea this ship was even getting a refurb when we booked it.  now to scramble and think about if we can plan another vacation this close to the date....ugh.

Fingers and toes crossed! We had no idea Navigator was even getting a refurb when we booked it. The dry dock wasn't even scheduled at the time I don't think.

Oh no! I hadn't considered that they could cancel our sailing. My Cruise Planner is also showing dates as Feb 24-Feb 25.

I do know that their website has been jacked up all day so I'm praying this is just a glitch. What happens when they cancel a cruise??

   Two things, first, do they do anything special for easter (Egg hunts the day before, etc?)  

 

But I'm more concerned with the new Adventure Ocean, the blurbs about it are new style of "Open Free Play". 

  We've done a RC Cruise before where they were split into the age groups, but the refurb doesn't seem like they will have the room for it.   It looks like the new Adventure ocean takes over the old space of Johnny Rockets, since they are moving the fitness center to the old AO location, so basically shrinking the size of Adventure Ocean.    The old fitness center (by the Solarium) is now just new cabins.   I'm a bit unsure of how this will work, and it will be hard to tell since this seems like a first for Royal.  

   But anyone who goes to the earlier sailings before April 12th, information on how this new kids area is actually set up would be and works appreciated.

 

 

Oh boy, now I'm worried too! We are sailing with our 4 yr old on the Feb 24th sailing so I'll try and remember to come back and post here what happens. We've been watching YouTube videos of AO to get her excited about it, it better look mostly the same! 

Upon further reflection, I'm leaning heavily towards the traditional option, with my family. My sister reminded me that I can get pretty anxious lol, and the last thing I want is to freak out at the top of the Fire and be all by myself! 😊

Thanks for asking this question! My husband and MIL are going to do the Breath/sitting one on our NOS sailing end of Feb and I can't decide whether to stick together and do that with them, or go off on my own and do the Fire/superman. 

So Fire goes out over the ocean as well? 

I've zip lined in St. Lucia and Africa so thought it would fun to do something different and do the Fire. But it's never as much fun doing something alone! 

This Libra can't make decisions, lol, so any advice is appreciated! 😊

Too funny - we looked at several ships last year before booking NOS and I guess I got mixed up and thought this one had the cupcake thing.  Bummed, but so much else to look forward to! 🙂

Hi!  We're sailing on the very first "amped" Navigator on Feb 24.  I've looked at the deck plans but I'm not familiar enough with the ship to be sure - does anyone know if the bakery with the cupcake decorating classes is still there?  (or perhaps it was removed for "To Dry For"?)
