I've watched a few videos where folks have been allowed to go on board and inspect different rooms and areas of the ship. I got the impression tis was before actual boarding began. Is this like a special pass you have to apply for or what?

OK thanks. I noticed in all the You Tube videos I watch that they seems to already had drinks in them. Maybe those were drinks the passenger brought on.

I need a fridge to keep some of my medications cold. Can I request the fridge in my suite to NOT be stocked with beverages?

Just started reading through the posts on this Carnival forum. Lots of great info so far. However, I am only on page 9 of 13,405 pages.
And I thought War and Peace was a tough read.

WOW, that's a pretty interesting web site.

Is there any benefit to paying for your cruise in full at the time of booking, rather then making a down payment and then additional paymets later on towards your sailing date?

Taking the 7 day Caribbean cruise and I was wondering what form of currency is accepted? Do they take US dollars?

Hi All. I'm new to this forum, joining only today. My wife and I are planning to take a cruise on Carnival's Miracle from Tampa, Fl around the Caribbean for 7 days. It is our first cruise so we thought we would do it up right and spend the extra money on a suite.
I like the wrap around balcony on the Vista suite. I've watched some You Tube videos people who have stayed in those suites have posted but I was hoping to get some additional comments from folks who have stayed in one. We are both 66 years old, but my wife can't really handle too many stairs. From what I have read, deck 6 seems to be mid way between the decks where stuff seems to be happening.
Would that be a good location for us to be do you think? Also where in Tampa does the ship leave from? It seems I read it leaves at 4:00pm, but I'm trying to narrow down the location so I can book a hotel close by. We will be planning to arrive a day before the sailing to make sure we don't get hung up somewhere along the line. Do you have to tip bartenders when they bring you a drink?
I'll probably have more questions as time goes by. Hope I don't become too much of a pain in the neck. We were looking at the May 5th cruise.
