We are sailing in December and talked to our agent about this 10% promotion. He contacted Azamara and they told him if we go ahead and pay in full now to get the extra OBC, then it automatically puts us in the “after final payment stage” and it is all non-refundable, should something happen and we need to cancel. Has anyone else found this to be true? A lot can happen between now and when we originally need to make final payment, not sure it’s worth the extra obc?

Stupid question about the laundry “stuff a bag”. Do they wash everything in the bag together or do they separate lights and darks?

Planned changes include replacement of the VR Arcade & Galaxy Pavilion, creation of a thermal suite, part of Observation Lounge repurposed into new cabins and the replacement of the Laser Tag Arena with an expanded beach club. Sounds like less stuff for kids and more for adults.

Hi,
We are a married couple and we each have our own chase reserve account, and our trip interruption/cancellation is 10k per person, up to 20k per trip. If we split our final payment for a world cruise on both of our cards, would we then have 40k coverage for trip interruption/cancellation? Has anyone done this, two different accounts among married couple? I can’t find anything about this on the Chase fine print for coverage. Thanks

We will be going on Azamara WC. I recommend using your TA if they give you a large rebate, OBC etc. If they dont find one. You will be leaving alot of money on the table.
Even if you have a TA we have been able to contact Azamara direct and ask alot of questions, book excursions, book flights, etc. If you have more specific questions you can email me at florida.mvr1 at gmail.com
Best wishes.
Hi, I just emailed you thank you so much!

We did trip cancellation through Azamara. We didn't need medical as we have our own plan. There was a group plan for the world cruisers. We're Canadian and it took months for the insurance company to give us the details (long after the US package became available) our TA priced a private company and what Azamara offered was a better price.
Which world cruise are you booked on?
Booking onboard in the next few days, 2026 world cruise. Are you on the 2024?

We are on the 2024 world cruise and I couldn't imagine not having our Travel Agent handling it.
That is so good to know. Thank you!! Did you get your insurance through Azamara or on your own?

Hi,
Booking a world cruise (all segments) onboard, would you recommend keeping this booking with Azamara or transferring to our travel agent? We always use our travel agent but the world cruise is quite involved, and we wonder if it’s best to leave it with Azamara? Can any world cruisers share their thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

They have increased prices, ouch. Thank you!

What is the current internet price? It used to be $19.95 a day but now I am reading it might be $29.99?

This☝️ - plus you could email them with your instruction to apply the free nights to your booking. If they fail to do that in time you can show that you told them to do it within the time limit.
I emailed the loyalty department as well as submitting the contact us form on Azamara last Friday. I attached all documentation and internal emails that the sales associate onboard gave me. Good point, it's all documented that I have tried, so even if after 30 days they should do it. 4 hours on hold now....

My loyalty level and points are both incorrect. Where did you get the information about applying the free nights within 30 days? I believe that when you move up a loyalty level, you have a year to book a cruise using those nights. My TA told me that I would be able to rebook once they recognize my new loyalty level
We were already at Discover level when we booked onboard 3/18. We have until November to use the free nights. We have 30 days to apply the free nights to this cruise we booked onboard, we were told by the onboard sales associate after 30 days we cannot apply the nights (but can to another cruise). We have the pricing with the 4 nights applied, and all the info from the onboard sales associate, but Miami has to apply it, the onboard associate could not because the website was down. I guess worse case we have paid a deposit for a cruise, and we do have the opportunity to move it to another cruise for one time free with no penalty.

Waiting until website sorted so that we can use our free nights. In meantime booked Celebrity Infinity instead
Our loyalty level is correct but points are not, we are missing about 80. What a mess

Well, is this cruise imminent? We are in the process of booking a cruise for December’24 and trying to use our 4 free nights as well (without success at this time because of loyalty status confusion). Our TA says that once that is straightened out, we will be able to rebook. So perhaps you could go ahead and transfer the booking to your TA and let them work on it?
This is December 2024 also. Issue is we already paid the $550 deposit when we were onboard. We were told we only had 30 days to apply the free nights.

Hi,
We were on the 3/18 sailing on the Onward. We worked with the onboard cruise sales person booking a cruise using our 4 free nights. This was when the website/transition happened. The sales person tried multiple times to get Miami (shoreside office) to book the cruise for us applying our four free nights. Miami said they couldn't because of the website transition. Miami said to take our deposit and they would work it out later. I have the emails from the onboard sales associate and Miami. Here we sit weeks later and nothing has happened. I have emailed loyalty and submitted the online Azamara contact us form. No response. I tried calling last week but phones were down. Currently on hold now, 2 hours so far. We were told we only had 30 days to get the free nights applied and transfer to our travel agent. We are running out of time. Anyone else in the same situation? Advice?

Don’t listen to what Penny said. We dealt with her on the Onward just recently and she knew nothing, stating that she hadn’t been trained at all. At the future cruise event she did someone asked what Azamasing Evenings were and she said she didn’t know to ask Guest Services. From what I understand our loyalty level will remain the same.

I did just get confirmation that Miami responded and yes we can use our free nights and our refer and receive credit. Now the task of still trying to get finalized pricing.

Thank you very much! We are from USA but I suspect the terms and conditions would be the same.

Hi,
Currently onboard the Onward and the future cruise staff doesn’t know if we can use our 4 free nights and our “Refer and Receive” future cruise credit together. Staff is all new with no training. They have written Miami but no response from Miami. We were going to book onboard but finding it difficult to get any answers.
Thanks!

Per person is correct.
This is a nice change. Being Elite, with the free drinks from 5-7, and bringing on 2 bottles of wine per person, there is no need for a drink package.

Now 2-750ml bottles of wine per adult at embarkation
I saw this in my cruise documents, and was surprised. Is this an error or is it truly 2 bottles of wine per person, instead of stateroom?

Thank you everyone! I am happy to hear it sounds like my daughter can go to the elite breakfast with me. I learned on another thread that the mimosas and bellinis are free, even if you don't have a drink package, that is nice. I assume my daughter would be able to have a drink with breakfast too?
10% credit if paid in full by April 10, 150+ days prior

We used our 4 free nights for this booking, I wonder if that makes our terms and conditions different? We never got an email about the 10%, our agent just asked us if we would like to consider it, and if so he would call them.
We are going to call ourselves on Monday.
Thanks everyone
