    Where do you make your specialty restaurant reservation before you depart? It used to be so easy but now I don’t see the link for a reservation. Appreciate your response, thanks. 

  2. On discovery now and so disappointed. Main dining room food took 90 minutes from order to table and was disgusting. I ordered yankee pot roast with teeny tiny squares of beef and a can of peas and carrots dumped on top. Never going back and will do buffet from now on!  We found a dirty glass in a drawer and my daughters next door found clothing in one of the drawers. And I have a collection of all the Princess ships we’ve cruised on my mantle but they don’t have a small replica of the Discovery. But, this is the 80’s themed cruise and the music, games, trivia and movies such as Airplane are fabulous. Glad my next two cruises are on Royal and Emerald.

    Sailing coincides with a Big Birthday for me, and I went to book immediately. While choosing between an Interior or a Balcony (traveling solo so it’s a legit question), the screen glitched and upon return the pricing is no longer available - - for any cabin. 
     

    I expect to find substantially increased pricing when the screen returns ☹️

    Happy Birthday and enjoy your balcony! We’re excited and looking forward to this cruise too. I can’t believe how fast the ship has filled up once it was advertised. I already booked four excursions, I’m done and ready 😀

    I booked 2 excursions last week online using OBC for both myself and my husband.  Had no problems.  Put the excursions in my cart, clicked pay now, and it took the OBC off and I paid the small remaining amount with my CC.  

    I was surprised to be able to book excursions for our April 2024 cruise. I booked online using our onboard credit and as previous poster said, I paid the remaining amount with my credit card.

    My mom ordered some add-ons she was unaware of when ordering her Medallion, so she cancelled the order.  The system took a day to refresh and she was able to place a new order.  The Ocean Medallion shop works better using the desktop version through the Cruise Personalizer.

     

    If all else fails the Medallion App tech support should be able to help you.  Call the Princess customer support line and follow the prompts to the Medallion App department.

    I feel so much better now, thanks so much!

    Our worry about this excursion is locating a restroom. I doubt there’s one on the small boat so we’ll just wave to everyone. Sounds like a fabulous day!

  7. I see where it says if you take the Princess bus to the Fort Lauderdale airport they drop you off between terminals on the Arrival level. There may not be porters available and you need to find your way to the Departure level. That sounds crazy! What do you suggest, taxi, are they available? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance.

Choose the cruise, Manage This Booking, Check-In, choose which guest, Dietary Requests, enter email, Dietary Restriction for (pull down name) check Food Allergy, in the box I said “Lactose Intolerance. Please have lactose free milk for cereal and coffee. Also, no butter, margarine. Thanks.” 
     

    On my last cruise I didn’t say that until I was in dining room so no lactose free milk. Every night dining room manager came to me with next evening menu and I chose what I wanted and they prepared lactose free. In the buffet I just walked in circles and didn’t eat anything. 
     

    For my next cruise is in April I already specified Lactose Intolerance. And received an email stating such which showed up on my Travel Summary. The key is to keep eating in same dining room so they get to know you. Hoping for dairy free cocktails. I love a Dirty Banana cocktail so for that, I’ll take 3 Lactaid pills as I take my first swallow (worth it)!

     

    *Also, on the Medallion app, go to Dining, Save, click Dairy Intolerance.

  9. Husband has changed to Platinum, but app still shows Ruby so I won’t order the Medallion yet. Is there a Medallion help line?
    And if Im Platinum, is the Medallion $10 shipping charged supposed to be waived? Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

NOBODY checks for that.  The general consensus is that this is just a way to spread out arrival times so that everybody does not rush the gate when they open.  Just plan on arriving at whatever time fits your schedule and in a relaxed manner.  NO STRESS!  We' done this for 18 cruises and it is absolutely not an issue.  Have a great cruise!

     

    P.S.  I'm pretty sure we were on a previous cruise with you...I recognize your picture.  No clue which cruise it was, though.

     

    Thank you so much for this information, much appreciated. You made me laugh when you said you recognized my picture because after boarding and having pizza in Alfredo’s a few years ago a gentleman came up to me and said he recognized me from Cruise Critic too.   11. We’re 35 days away from leaving, and choosing an arrival time shows a zero and says there are no groups to choose from. Did I miss this or is it too soon to pick a time? Thanks in advance, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year cruising!
