My fiancé and I have decided for our honeymoon for the Independence of the Seas Oceanview Balcony.  I am really nervous to book because I want to make sure that room 8564 has sliding balcony doors for the view.  I searched and searched online and can’t find the answer.  If anyone has stayed in this room and can answer and/or has any insight we would greatly appreciate it!!!! Thank you! 😀

My fiancé and I are looking to book a JS Balcony room for our honeymoon and we have narrowed it down to 2 balconies.  I thought we were going with 9638, but I just found that the piano from the suite above may be loud.  Any insight on 9638 or 9264 would greatly be appreciated.  Also, do all JS Balconies have 2 lounger chairs?

Hi!   Unfortunately, it looks like if I choose to book I will have to book a guaranteed balcony and won't be able to choose.  I am worried about having an obstructed view and/or a noisy cove balcony.  Any experience with an obstructed view balcony?  How bad was it?  Trying to get some opinions to help my decision to deal with it or look at another ship.

And that may be the reason I no longer cruise...I think a lot from my cruise feel the same way.  Maybe after some time that feeling will disappear...

I was on this ship as well.  15 cruises, but first big ship.  I know it is easy for everyone to say just be happy to be on a cruise, but when it is a life dream to go to Labadee and you save all your pennies to make the dream come true it is truly disappointing beyond belief that your dream is taken away.  Plus, there were many other options that might have been possible if our ship didn’t have mechanical issues or just some thought was put intk it- Nassau, Freeport, Grand Bahamas, Coco Cay, or Key West.  Wouldn’t have been Labadee, but would have at least lifted our spirits some. Or heck at least compensation for a future cruise.  I have emailed and have heard nothing and probably won’t hear anything, just so disappointed. 😥

OK...we are sailing on Allure 3/17 and the ship has appeared to be sold out for days.  However, I just got notification that our Royal Up offer was accepted...being upgraded from a Jr. Suite to a Crown Loft Suite...with minimum bid.  However our friends that have a Jr. Suite guarantee have yet to be assigned a stateroom.  We are super excited but have never stayed in the Crown Lofts on the back of the ship....not sure I will like them as well as the ones on the side of the ship...what a problem to have!!!

You have to be on a computer to see bid strength- iPads and iPhones do not show it.

Anybody have an accepted offer on Enchantment?  I had an unsuccessful in Feb. and currently a pending for April (trying for ocean view to balcony).

I understand not wanting to share bids that are pending, but has anyone been successful for a 3 night cruise going from ocean view to balcony and if yes, how much did you bid?

For a February cruise on Enchantment both fiancé and I received RoyalUp offer about 30 days prior to cruise (received denial email 1:00 pm day before departure).  For our April 12th cruise on Enchantment only Fiancé received RoyalUp offer today- fingers crossed on balcony.  😀

Anyone receive a RoyalUp for Enchantment for April 12th?
