Are the AARP ones still available? I do not see them on their website. Does someone have a direct link to them if they are still available?

I have a booking in October 2018 for the Vista. When I checked last week, there were still several Havana cabins available. They are now gone.

We stayed at the Sheraton Tampa RIverwalk in October 2015. Got a really good rate on Hotwire. They have a free shuttle that will take you anywhere in the downtown area, including the cruise port.

Deck 3, Deck 9, Deck 10, and Deck 11 do.

I think they should do the area where the current slide is. The pool in that area was barely used the whole week when were on the ship in January. That area could use a refresh. Doing that would also enable them to keep the current Serenity and aft pool area intact as well.

I'll be on the Glory at the beginning of the year. If I remember to, I will take a look at the television in the room and the remote and see if there is a way to change inputs on them.

If you used a TA or PVP they can link your bookings. If booked directly with Carnival call with the names and booking numbers and have them link them together for dining.
Wow, thanks for such a fast response. You gave me the answer I need.

We just booked the Glory for next January and are cruising with some friends. How do we ensure that we are seated at the same table in the dining room with them if we all choose the late seating for dinner?

I found this review through your signature when reading your Carnival Splendor review. Excellent job! I'm looking at a cruise on the Glory and your review was helpful.

I was on this sailing too. The OP's post was pretty dead on accurate.
Negatives -
The ship is pretty tired. We had issues with plumbing in our cabin that some of the staff chose to ignore. Not a lot of activities during the days at sea that piqued our interest. Having the trivia contests at the smoky casino bar seemed like a bad idea.
Positives - Our room steward was excellent, our server in the dining room was excellent. The food was really good in the dining room. They had Caribbean style food on the buffet during the day we were at Grand Cayman and it was pretty awesome. We didn't do much but a little shopping near the port in Grand Cayman. The weather there was a little wet. Cozumel was gorgeous and we enjoyed a nice beach day and a little more shopping.

Thank you, Stek.
After the bus accident in Chile, my husband said that he never wanted to do an excursion that wasn't booked through the cruise line.
I've heard so many good things about Mazatlan Frank's tours. My husband said that if I want to do it that badly, we'll do it. He said that he'll still feel a little uncomfortable, though.
I'm wondering if the rest of you were nervous at first about booking an excursion, any excursion, outside of the cruise line. Have you done many tours that you've booked on your own?
You can probably tell that this will be our first cruise. :p
My wife and I are going on our first cruise in July. We decided to book with Frank after looking at his website and reading the numerous positive reviews on this website. As far as the bus accident goes, it was an unfortunate event and my heart goes out to the families of the victims. As unfortunate as the accident was I think something like that could happen on a ship sponsored excursion just the same. If you go on an independent excursion do the necessary research to see what others say about the excursion. This forum seems to be a good place to start. It will probably ease your worries about booking an independent excursion.
So when is your first cruise?
