Hi,
Does Pride of America offer to transfer your luggage to the airport from the ship? I read that if you fly certain airlines they will do that and you don't have to pick it up when you leave the ship. They take it to the airport and you pick it up when you arrive at your destination. It was an old post and I wasn't sure if they still offered this.

In "normal conditions", air temperature drops about 5.5 degs F per 1000 feet of elevation gain. In Hawaii's humid air, I would expect the temps to drop less than that in most circumstances. Bear in mind, your helicopter probably won't go up more that a couple thousand feet with the doors off...higher if it has doors on. Where is the tour for?
So, if the temps are in the high 70s, low 80s, you can do the math.
We have done both. We wore a light jacket, but shorts, for the doors off trip.
Thank you so much!! We are going on the tour in Kauai in May. Temperature should be 70 probably. So that means maybe 62-65 degrees with the wind blowing right? Brrrrr!!

Hi Fellow Cruisers,
I have read all of the reviews on the different islands that have the best helicopter tours. But what I really want to know is how cold and windy it is on the Doors Off tours. I don't want to be so cold that I can't enjoy the trip, but again I would love to experience the views from the helicopter with as much of an unobstructed view as possible.
Can you please give me your opinions based on your own experiences.
Thank you so much!

Good Afternoon,
I have read several reviews on getting to the tram at Paradise Point and still I have a few questions. There are 8 of us and we are mostly seniors with a few afraid of heights (I am both).;)
Are there a lot of steps up to the place where you get on the Tram?
Can you get a taxi to take you to the top to the restaurant and shopping for those that are afraid of heights? If so, will taxi's be there waiting for you when you take in the views, look around and shop or do you need to ask one to come back and pick you up at a certain time.
Is there a place to go to enjoy the views if you don't take the tram?
Does Paradise Point charge a fee if you take a taxi up and don't ride their tram?
Thanks so much for any info you can give me.

We did a tour with Henry last year and it was awesome. His daughter drives and Henry does the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the island and a very wonderful man.

We have been on the Scubadu 5 times when in St. Thomas. It is very quiet and private. They only book 3 couples or 6 people and they have a very good lunch. The Captain is also a chef.. the website is https://www.sailvi.com. Hope it lets me post this. If not look up Scubadu St. Thomas.

Hi Arubalisa,
We emailed back and forth several years ago before our first land vacation to Aruba. It was probably five years ago, since we have gone there every year since then. We love Aruba but usually stay in the low rise section at the Costa Linda. We are going in March for a day as a stop on the Zuiderdam. I was wondering if you could recommend a good beach bar and grill so we could have a few drinks and enjoy the sunset. I have heard Bugaloe is really fun, but wanted to get your opinion. There are 7 of us in our group.
Thanks,
Sherry

Thanks so much for the review. We love Iguana Joe's too. We go for a week to Aruba every year and love Smokey Bones too that is in the high rise section. It is a sister restaurant of Iguana Joe's.
That is really weird that they change the time in the middle of the day. SO glad you mentioned that.

Hi NavyBankerTeacher;
Thank you so much....the info says that you paddle to Dawn Beach. Hopefully we can stay there for a few hours before we head back to the ship.

Hi All,
We are going to be in St. Maarten in October and were looking for a kayaking excursion. Has anyone ever taken the Oyster Pond Kayaking tour?
Is it a protected area or are there waves that come in?
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sherry

Does anyone know whether of not the Anthem of the Seas stays on ship time or changes with the Canadian Ports?
