Ugh really? That’s a bummer. These new ships are really sounding less and less appealing. I have been on the breakaway and Getaway and loved them. The escape was great too... just felt like an upgraded Getaway. The new ones sound disappointing.. the Encore won’t have Spice

I loved the Escape one. Especially compared to the Getaway and breakaway 

Has there been any update on Soice H2O on the Encore? Was it maybe changed to another location? Such a waste of prime space to have laser tag there...

Wow that seems VERY FAST! It’s millions of dollars in renovations in 3 weeks? So it sounds like not TOO much is going to change

Looks like spice is on the ship ( there was a worry) and looks like the look isn’t going to be moved. And is SMALL.

Yup. Deck 7 on the Bliss is pretty skinny. Since we sailed on the Bliss about a month after the Escape last year, it was really noticeable. Photos of the Joy appear to be the same. 

 

Encore marks the demise of Spice H20 in favor of a larger laser tag (revenue earning) facility. 

Are they really getting rid of Spice?? I’ve been on 3 NCL cruises (escape, breakaway and just two weeks ago the getaway). This was by far my favorite part of the ship. My favorite was the Escape (grotto). The main pools also seem to be getting smaller.

Yea it was low. Hundred or so above the minimum pp, so I would assume it wasn’t accepted. It looks like they send out rejections. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten those. 

Hey all! New here but I’ve been following awhile. Bid about a month ago on the Norwegian Getaway out of Miami March 10 (SO SOON!). Haven’t heard anything yet so I assume we didn’t get the upgrade. It’s about two days away. No biggie. Was worth a try!
