I was just about to suggest the same thing lol. They should have what your looking for.

This is what we did on our last cruises. We took it to the room and went to the lido.

We have 12:30-1pm boarding time. We will be bringing our bags on also. We both have a carry-on and a backpack. 

I too love mashed potatoes. I would take them over rice any day.

I try and take a nap. On port days we get off the ship early and get back on early. Eat lunch and chill out for a while. We take a nap before dinner (my time dining). It works well.

I have prepaid my gratuities. I have reserved the steakhouse. Do I tip the waitstaff with cash or is it included in my gratuities?

I was also looking for a dining package. 

I just said the same thing to my husband. I can’t stand when people do that. Either give them a TIP or don’t say s@@t! You know what I was waiting for “Then you shouldn’t be cruising if you can’t afford the extra bag”. Lol I can’t we these people.

We give $20 when we first me also. It’s working out so far.

I have not been to the steakhouse yet. However, I have done the chef table on Carnival Liberty 2017. It was amazing!!!! Thinking about doing it again on the Horizon. If the menu changes I will. Hope you get a chance again. You will love it too.
